Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Alta HR's heart rate and sleep tracking features, as well as its ease of use and comfortable design. Many appreciate the device's accuracy and long battery life. However, some customers point out that the water resistance could be improved, and the display visibility could be better in bright light.

I didn't like that there was no scratch protection available to protect the facing and how hard it was to activate the screen info at times. Didn't feel I could wear the Fitbit while working or throughout my daily routine. I was afraid I was going to scratch up the facing.

When I work out and sweat, the heart rate monitor works less than 50% of the time. I run stairs daily, yet not one set of stairs has been tracked since I purchased this. If I was in my 30 days, I would return my purchase. But it's too late. I wouldn't encourage anyone to purchase this.

Tried this product for its size. Difficult to use without tapping the screen very hard. There is no push button on the side. When it worked, the heart rate was way off. My typical heart rate is around 70 or so. The Alta HR was reading 90-100. Went back to the charge 2 which reads almost exactly as my doctors office.

The Alta HR is an okay exercise gaget, but, I also need a watch and calendar as well. So, I returned it to purcase a Fitbit Charger 2 which has all the bells and whistles that I needed.

We have gone through 4 fitbits in the past 2 years because they keep falling apart from being poor quality. Not worth the money for how easily it breaks

Probably going to return it & use my Surge

I replaced my Surge with this about a month ago because I liked the idea of the sleep stages & the smaller band. After the first week, no matter how loose or tight I make it on my arm or wrist, I get no sleep tracking or only part of the night. I have reset it multiple times to no avail. There are holes in the heart rate tracking that I think causes this. I never had this problem with the Surge. Surge just doesn't do the sleep stages. I am very disappointed in this.

Not working good all the time. If it is not tight enough on my wrist, it doesn't work right. And it is uncomfortable when it is too tight.

This thing has cool features but it's not accurate at all. I returned it because it told me thst I walked 76 steps before I got out of bed on 3 seperate occasions. Then I walked down the hallway and counted 75 steps but it told me I took 123 steps. Exchanged it for a Gear 2 by Samsung, more features, less money and more accurate.
