Daughter wanted a watch and I thought she spent way to much time laying around looking at her phone. I liked the alarms reminding her to move around. Easy to lose battery so need to keep close track of charge cord.

The fitbit alta is pretty good, the smart notifications are pretty basic. The app is pretty good, but I wish it had all of the same functionality that it has on iOS as on Android. The yoga app being only available on iOS is really dissapointing. The choice of fashionable bands is really cool.

It does all the exercise motivation that they promise, but the best feature is that it lets her know when her phone is ringing and receives text right to the display. Outstanding for me. Worth everything I paid for the gift.

I HAVE HAD MY FITBIT FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO YEARS. THIS IS MY THIRD ONE BECAUSE I DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT. THE BAND STRETCHES OUT OF PORTION AND I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE IT TWICE BUT OTHER THAN THAT, I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

The Alta HR has done everything I was looking for so far! Only thing I'd like is longer battery life but with HR I know that's just not possible in something so small, still love it!

My son bought this for himself so we could challenge each other on the Fitbit App! He wears it to school and every other day and loves it! We challenge each other all the time! He always seems to win!!!

My wife has been wanting this for a very long time. She wears the clio on, but wanted the braceket. The small band fits her ok. The medium would be better gor her. Otherwise its great for a very reasonable price.

Seems to operate in much the same way as the earlier version, so 5 stars. But I preferred the former connection for charging. That was intuitive and simple, and there doesn't seem to have been any good reason for changing it.

This is overall a good product. I use it for the silent alarm function. I do not like the charger. It's better than the previous version. It's a charge cradle but there arn't grooves built in so you have to be precise about placement of the cradle adapter over the Fitbit charge port so that sucks

The washer and dryer is on it for you and your shoes are in a lot and you have a nice one at your shop thanks again and thanks to my friends for you guys thanks to you for you thanks you have to do a good one for you

This is the best color FitBit I've seen! It matches a lot of my clothes and the gold accent is the perfect touch. I will say the only negative is that sometimes you need to tap the screen several times for the face to light up.

I bought the Alta after my previous Charge HR broke. I have had it for about 3 weeks. I do not need a GPS tracker on my exercise tracker. Which is why I went with the Alta. It doesn't have a button on the side, so I have to smack it to read the time and other stats. The directions say to just raise your arm or flick your wrist for it to turn on. I have yet to get that to work. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't track walking unless you have been doing it for 10+ minutes. At least my old one tracked walking of five minutes. I have had to walk around my neighborhood and stop off at more than one store. None of that walking time gets tracked because the distance between each stop was around 5 minutes. I took it when I went to Disneyland, and my time walking varied greatly than when I used my CHR.

Did not like this Fitbit. I upgraded and this one did not work as well. Screen didn't always come on and it took several tries or wouldn't come on at all. For price not worth it.

I got it mostly for my pulse and sleep monitoring. The pulse is off by about 5-6 beats, but close enough. The sleep is very interesting. It seems pretty accurate and it was amazing how it analyzed the night time monitoring of my sleep activity. Great for fun, don't bet your life on it...

I am disappointed that it doesn't track floors and when I am on the treadmill if I use my right hand to drink my bottled water it thinks I stopped walking. I usually walk 40 minutes and it will break it into several segments and I don't get the full 40 minutes. But I love the look of it.

We purchased this Fitbit for my mother - I have a different model - and she likes it. Really happy that we can order different style bands that can dress it up to go with more formal outfits...a big advantage over mine.

Got this for my wife and she absolutely loves it... especially since she found out about all of the aftermarket wristbands that you can get for it on Amazon for next to nothing. Got it sale for $119 which makes it even better!

I got this for my wife who has a very small wrist. The Charge HR that I use was too big and bulky for her, but the Alta does fine with essentially the same features. A software upgrade showing remaining battery % would be nice.

I bought the Alta HR to replace my Alta. Overall, I like it, but there are some negatives. I like that my Alta bands for it. The alarm doesn’t vibrate as strongly as the Alta and the battery does not last long enough. I wish I would have stuck with the Alta.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She is not the most active person, however she It has motivated her to get at least 10,000 steps a day. Serves as a good accountability partner, let alone the other great features.
