Great fitness tracker for everything but it does not track biking on recumbent bike, so if that is your preferred exercise, you might want to look elsewhere. It is also hard to see in the dark at night. But everything else is great.

I bought this as a gift for my wife to replace her older Charge HR. She really loves the smaller profile of the Alta HR with all the same benefits of the Charge HR. She told me I did GOOD!

I have a few friends that opted for cheaper models and most of them have had issues. Although this is a bit pricey, it has been trouble free and appears to be quite durable. Overall it's worth paying a little more for a higher quality product.

Have been using for a week and it’s very motivating! I also love the color on this one. My husband and I have been challenging each other and feeling healthier already!

I love my fitbit alta hr. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the brightness level is not adjustable. Extremely hard to see in sunlight. Other than that it's a terrific product that I've been using for about 5 weeks and I would but it again.

I don't like the fact that it shows miles rather than steps on the device and you have to practically beat on it to get it to show anything. It is also very hard to read outside in the sun.

My Fitbit would say I had steps and did not have it on and when I had an active day it didn't record it. I liked how it fit and looked.

Love my Fitbit Alta! It’s easy to use and allows you to preview messages and calls if you want to. I got it to track my heart rat and it does fairly well except sometimes it shows up as a dash, as if it can’t read my heart rate :/

Bought this because I didn’t want to spend the money for an Apple Watch. Love the sleep tracker but other than that I now own an Apple Watch and never used this again. Go with your heart.

I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day. We both love it. I know she's using it to track her day and be healthy. She likes all that it can track and is now having fun being healthy.

The Alta does what it does well but has some kinks - for example, when I take it off for a while it seems to think that I have walked about 250 yards... Otherwise, it fits and works well.

It is fun to see what you have done throughout your day. Sleep tracker is a little funky if you are somewhat sedentary in the evening like me. It sometimes thinks I'm sleeping when I'm on my computer. Overall though, I really enjoy it.

This was a gift for my mom and I wanted something to sustain water and wear and tear and this thing has been great! It's easy for her and she wears it daily

This product is exactly as described. Ordered it online and picked it up in store and that was a very smooth process. The Fitbit is exactly what I wanted it to be.

I liked my old fitbit one better, just put it in a pocket and it was very accurate, only needed recharging every 2-3 weeks. The alta hr is not especially comfortable on my wrist and while it does tell time, it’s not as user friendly as my wristwatch. Tapping the alta hr doesn’t always work and I find I have to keep tapping before I can finaly see the time. The step counter may be accurate but not as precise. It doesn’t give a count of stairs which my old fitbit did. And it requires recharging every week. The reminders to move are subtle so not annoying. It’s okay looking but difficult to put on and off.

I really love this activity tracker! It not only tracks steps, but heart rate as well. You can track foods for the day as well. The reminders are helpful and I have found the sleep monitor very helpful. Very pleased with this purchase.

If you have a exercise goal, the fit bit is wonderful. Like that I can see who is calling or texting without looking at my phone. Haven't heard my phone ring in years.

FitBit is a fun toy that at, about 85% accuracy according to my calculations, inspires me to stay in shape. My only real concern is that the display is way too dim to read outdoors.

I've used my Fitbit to challenge all of my fiends and have gotten in shape since the purchase. My friends encourage me to get fit and I in turn motivate them! Awesome for beginners.

My previous FitBit basically counted steps and that was all. This upgrade does lots more including the clock and the sleep monitor which records sleep cycles.
