The watch/fitness tracker is comfortable to wear. I like the that you can change bands. If you haven't moved in a while it reminds you to do so. There is an added benefit if I don't hear my phone it will vibrate to let you know you have a call or text, it also shows who is calling. You can read your text right on your wrist.

I love the feel and the fit of the Blaze much more than the Surge I had the past 2 years. I like that I can switch the band if I choose to do so. Battery time is reasonable. I can get multiple notifications on the screen vs the Surge which only allowed 1. I would definitely recommend and buy again if I were shopping.

My husband loves this watch and wears it everyday. I just wish that it was also water proof or splash proof as well.

This watch is simple and easy to use. I like the black face. It monitors heart rate. it also tells you how many steps you've taken for the day. There are other features as well. The price was about what you would pay for a non smart watch from certain brands. I think it was well worth it.

Excellent for tracking weight loss stats. Best part is receiving texts and silent alarms through this device.

This is a nice tracker from Fitbit. It tracks heart rate, steps, calories, and actives. The only disappointment that I have is that the tracker requires a phone to be connected in order to track GPS location. The Surge is still the only all in one tracking device.

    Better then the surge

I had the surge for almost a year and a half ago and I have to say that it is more accurate, didn't cause my skin to change and designed better then the surge. The shortfall is you need your cellphone in order to chart your runs/walks. But it's better because it's not important and when it is i'll always have my cell with me.

My Charge finally konked out after three years, so I decided to upgrade. The app for I-Phone is very nice, works great. I only have to charge it twice a week, which I like much better than every other day, or every day as some fitness watches require. It picks up sleep, exercise, and charts everything. Very nice.

I bought this for my dad, he recently had a heart operation, so now he can just tap the watch to make sure his heart rate is okay, he loves it....the only gripe i have with it, is the charging dongle....buy an aftermarket charger, so you dont have to pop out the unit from the band, just to charge it.

This is a very nice fit bit. My husband uses it every day. He likes it because he does a lot of walking with his job and it keeps him motivated. It looks nice on him and he gets messages was able to read it while working. I think it's great for the price. They also have other bands that you can switch out which is pretty cool.

It’s not quite as good as a Apple Watch but it is also a fraction of the price. Keep in mind it is rather large

I've just swapped up from the charge hr to the blaze. I was getting tired of wearing the "workout" look only, the blaze gives me a look that can be interchanged with a more watch band like look. Both measure what I want measured so I'm happy with the upgrade. I still use the charge intermittently. Happy with the blaze

I purchased this watch for my wife for Christmas. She had researched Fitbit watches and said Blazé was the one she wanted because it had the ability to interface with her iphone. She loves it. It displays her activity including steps and hours slept. It notifies her when she receives a text message on her phone.

As a fitness tracker this is an excellent device. Now, that being said, for HIIT workouts the heart rate tracking is not spot on. For any steady state cardio it is right on the money. I have found this to be true with the Charge HR and the Blaze. All in all this is a solid device which tracks my fitness activities appropriately. It is not waterproof, merely water resistant so there's another knock. Here's another factor... If you are trying to get all the functionality of an Apple Watch you will be woefully disappointed, but you will also spend half as much. Also, the new Apple watches are waterproof. so there's that.I have both. I have the Blaze because the insurance incentives through my work do not recognize anything but FitBit data and there was not a reliable way to do so with the Apple Watch. Bottom line.. is this a good product, yes. Does it do everything.. no. Does It do what you want.. That's up to you. It does what it advertises and really well. If you want a "do everything" wrist gadget for 1/2 the price of an Apple Watch you will be disappointed.

I held off reviewing the Blaze, until Fitbit and Microsoft worked out all their compatibility issues regarding notifications and connected GPS (I have a Windows 10 Mobile phone). Notifications and GPS started working recently and work just fine. Operation of the band is fairly intuitive. The only con is somewhat on-again, off again heart rate monitoring, when the band gets sweaty. Getting sweaty is something fitness bands tend to do. I'll reposition the band, tighten it, loosen it, etc., until the heart rate shows again and, when it does, it tends to spike up 20-30 bpm, then return to normal. The phone app is pretty good and also intuitive. Oddly, it has better features than the on-line dashboard. The band has held up well, though the edges of the watch face look like they could be easily damaged. I've invested in a screen protector and, to date, have had no issues. Overall quite pleased with the Blaze and would recommend it. The not yet released (waterproof) Fitbit Ionic with onboard GPS appears to be a nice upgrade.

Just like Fitbit is known for this is a solid step tracker. It has added notifications for texts and appointments which is a nice addition, but brought the price up close to Apple Watch or the Moto 360 with much less functionality. Great device for those invested in the Fitbit environment but a tad expensive for what you get.

Excellent Tracker, Solid First Smart Watch

The Blaze is a great step tracker! It can tell you a ton of information (steps, miles, calories, floors, etc) and since it has a decent sized display you don't have to squint to read it nor twist your arm at a weird angle. Big upgrade from the Alta there. As a smart watch, its a solid first step if you've never had one before. It can alert you to text messages, emails, phone calls, calendar alerts, messenger apps, and more! The only thing it CAN'T do, is send anything back. I'd be nice if you could reply to text messages with a VERY basic set of things like "ok" 'yes" "no" "TTYL" or something like that. It has a few other useful features like silent alarms, countdown timers, breathing exercises and more, all using the built in vibration I found myself using a more than I was expecting. I love the Blaze and I'd recommend it to anyone who uses their smart phone a lot who wants to up their fitness level. Or to anyone who wants to leave their phone on charge somewhere else in the house, but still stay up to speed on everything.

I love how it keeps up with your heart rate, expecialy when you're working out. I also love the step monitor helps motivate u to keep moving. Lastly, the sleep tracker works wonders because it caused me to realize I need to start going to bed earlier so that I can reach my goal of 8 hours of sleep.
