    Very Good Athletic Watch

Best athletic watch I've ever owned. Looks good too. I wear it as an everyday watch and workout watch. I like the continuous heart rate monitoring, the automatic sleep tracker, the silent alarm, and the notifications from my phone. The music control doesn't appear to work with my phone. Even if it did I wouldn’t use it anyways because you have to use classic bluetooth, which drains your watches battery more quickly. The battery life seems to last for several days, no problem. I charge it when I'm jumping in the shower since it's not waterproof. Other than that, it's a great watch. I don't think there is a better watch out there with same features for that kind of price.

Pros: The size fits my small wrist nicely. There is no problem viewing the time or other setting outside in the sunlight. Easy to use. it seems to keep track of my steps as accurate as possible. I can keep track of how much water I drink, what I eat, how many hours I sleep. it vibrate when I reach my goal, when I get a phone call, and text. I don't have to charge every day. Cons: When I get more than one text from the same person it will let me know how many messages I have from them, but it doesn't display what the messages say. It would be nice to be able to answer a text from the watch,. Need more watch faces to choose from. conclusion: I am satisfied.

I got this primarily for tracking my sleep and heartrate. Being in the engineering field combined with my health issues, I already know I do not walk enough....I try, but fail miserably. That said, the sleep tracker part is fantastic! I wish it has a SPO2 sensor then it would be perfect! The screen is easy to read in all lighting, the battery life is great, I am getting 5 full days with no issues! I wish there were more faces, but it looks like Fitbit is already working on that! I marked it down 1 star for not being waterproof. As a watch or wearable, it should be. As it isn't I have to be a bit more cautious than normal.

This has been one of the best purchases I've made in my lifetime. This thing literally tracks everything about your heatlh and fittness. Calories, Fat, Steps, Floors, Heartbeat, Sleep Quality. EVERYTHING. The Display is super clean, and its extremely easy to navigate through the settings. The fitbit app itself is mind blowing. You can look at your daily progress and even weeks before. I also love the fact that you can personalize almost anything about it. It's also very comfortable to wear. I wear it a little tighter than recommend, and I've had no problems with being uncomfortable.

I absolutely love my fitbit blaze! Ithe tracks every exercise type that I do. Walk, run, cardio, cycle, and weights! I find it to be accurate and I love the bpm and sleep tracker as well. This watch packs in a lot for the money. Well worth it.

I like the Blaze a lot better than my Charge. It is a little bulkier so it took some getting use to. It is a touch screen with multiple features. I like how I can choose what exercise I am doing and the Blaze will keep track. Being able to see my steps through out the day is motivating. I get alerted if I go an hour without getting some steps in during the hours I chose to be notified. Getting my text messages is really convenient as well as changing my workout music without having to stop what I am doing. The Blaze is pretty awesome.

I had bought this for my wife cause she's in to the fitbit brand. I'll give as much info as i can based on what I've seen so far. The watch has a really good battery life. It's been getting about 5 days on a full charge depending of course on usage. The screen display isnt too bad either. Its not as crisp as some of the other competitors out there but its not horrible either. One feature that i like is it gives you the time but directly above the time you have 3 quick links that display heart rate, steps, and calories burned. This is pretty cool cause you dont have to scroll to see where your at. Everytime you check your watch you can see how well your doing with your fitness. The watch allows you link up with your phone so you can get calls and text messages directly to your watch. I was kinda impressed to see that text messages recieved on the watch were full text messages and were not cut short. This allows you to be on a treadmill for example and be able to read the whole message on your watch regardless of how long it is and not have to pull your phone out. The one thing i thought was awkward was the way its charged. The whole screen pops out of the watch and is placed into this bulky square capsule with is then plugged into the wall. I dont understand why it wasn't designed to plug directly into the watch similar to the fitbit hr. Over all though my wife has been very happy with it and if your a fan of fitness watches i believe you will be very satisfied with this purchase.

Love this watch. Tracks steps very well, better than most wrist models. Excellent tracking of sleep. Heart rate is as good or better than my chest strap. Much better than any other wrist model watch has. It does receive my notification and calls. Can't answer or text but does ID caller and let's me read texts. Battery life is great. 3-4 days at least. Charges in just a couple hours. So yes it doesn't do all an Apple Watch does. But it costs much less and does what I need it to.

This is a great fitness watch. I had the zip, charge and finally upgraded to the blaze. It tracks sleep, steps, exercise, heart rate, caloric burn, etc. It is not a smart watch however you can control music and receive visual text, email, calendar, call, etc notifications. It has GPS, alarms, timers, built in exercise routine and relaxation techniques. The fitbit app connects to the device and other apps. The band isn't the best but isn't too costly to replace. Mine broke and fitbit sent a replacement. Bands come in many colors so you can coordinate them with your attire. It can withstand sweat and rain but not subversion in water.

Pros: - I think it is one of the better looking smart watches on the market which is why I purchased it. - It has a heart rate monitor without a strap which I wanted and is not available in the other watches that I thought had features this doesn't. - It is not massive like some. - reasonable price point - battery life is 3-4 days depending on use. Apple battery advertised at 18 hours so you can't use it to track sleep. - can receive text and phone alerts so you don't have to pull your phone out. Cons: - not waterproof like the Apple or Garmin, almost a deal breaker. - probably my least favorite feature is a battery extender. The face does not stay on. The time is supposed to show based upon raising the arm, but this feature only works about 20% of the time. So you can't just glance at the watch and see the time. Similarly, the alerts don't wake up the watch so that you can see them unless you push a button. I find this extremely annoying. But I bought it and kept it anyway. Bottom line, I liked the size, look and functionality. Adding a stainless steel band, I can dress it up for work I had to sacrifice waterproof and always on. Life's choices.

I am really impressed with the Blaze. Fitbit has put in a lot of time on developing their computer/phone app and it shows. The tracker itself has an attractive design that borrows heavily from current smartwatches. The cost point is as attractive as well at $200 and battery life 4-5 days which is very appealing to me. This is NOT a smartwatch, but it does what it is designed to do beautifully and is a fantastic compromise. The device syncs to your cell phone which does the 'heavy lifting' of GPS tracking, reviewing data using the above mentioned FitBit App and the like. This allows charging to be every 4 days instead of every night, which for me is a complete win. The Blaze provides me with silent alarm that wakes me in the morning without disturbing my wife when I leave for the gym, give me notifications, tracks my activity, heart rate and calorie intake. It also controls my music and give me notifications for texts and calls. This device does everything I want and need at a fraction of the price it's smartwatch competitors. I highly recommend it.

I love my blaze! I had to upgrade my fitbit since i couldn't wear certain colors for work. I love the fact that i can change bands, read texts, control music/volume and answer calls. Can setup alarms without having to use the app. I wear it all the time. I like how it breaks down your sleeping habits and tells you all kinds of information. You can select the tyoe of workout you would like to do and if you chose to go on. Hike for example, the app will show a map of the location and the route you walked. I totally recommend this!

I've had the surge and I really love the Blaze! Great color screen and easy to read in the bright daylight. I like the overall look and it is really comfortable to wear, very sleek and attractive. The connected GPS works great with my iPhone. Battery lasts as advertised... 4-5 days! Step count and heart rate is accurate, the Blaze keeps me on track to hit my fitness goals.

Slightly Better than Average Tracker w/ Nice Perks

Look and Feel: Blaze is gaudy but surprisingly lightweight--seems lighter than the Charge HR. Nice interactive touchscreen, with the ability to change watch faces, brackets, and bands. Would be nice if there were more watch faces to choose from. Functionality - Tracker for steps and calories is generally off. For instance, last night I did a brisk walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes, bu the device only tracked 3,000 steps. Another tracker I was using tracked 4700 steps. Generally, for me, moderately brisk walking yields 1,000 per 10 minutes. Battery lasts typically 4-5 days, but the tracker has to be popped out of the unit and then put in the DUMBEST charger EVER! However, it pops out and back in to the unit easily. The ability to track specific exercises that you can customize is a nice perk, and can be done by using the device's touchscreen with a fair amount of ease. This is the fun part--and it can all be done from the device without having to use the mobile app to track activities. Unit will lightly vibrate when you reach goals, get a phone call, or a text (so long as your phone is close by). You can adjust your music on another device on the units touchscreen--a feature I can do with or without. Since you have to have your mobile phone to use this feature, you might as well just adjust the music on your phone or tablet directly. The Fit Star app on the device is a nice perk, but leaves room to be desired as its workouts are extremely limited. The FitBit mobile app is pretty good, but recent upgrades have been very glitchy, especially with Android phones, and you can join the fitbit community boards to see the number of complaints with upgrades. The app may not work well on earlier Android phones like the Galaxy S3 and perhaps the S4.. Pricing: For the price, FitBit really could have done a lot better in terms of features and functionality. The Blaze is a glorified Charge HR with a touch screen and a few added perks. Compared to the iWatch, it seems to be a more versatile device for less money. Typically selling at $199,00, it's not a bargain, but not a bad price for a tracker that is akin to a smartwatch. Overall, the Blaze is a nice tracker with a few fun and convenient perks. However, in terms of accuracy and functionality, it's not much better than the Charge HR. It should have, for the price, a function that alerts you when you have been sedentary too long, as does the much cheaper Atria, and a working GPS function for mapping running and walks. I would say that it is a tad better than the iWatch for much cheaper, and is far more customizable.

After researching the blaze, ionic and Apple Watch I decided on the blaze. I didn’t really need a true smart watch and I really didn’t want to drop $300 on the ionic and more for the Apple Watch. The blaze has an awesome battery life, 3-4 days without a charge is no problem. I like that I can get text and call notifications on my blaze and also some other app notifications. i have no problem bringing my phone on a run so the blaze is perfect for me

There are a lot of similar products out there. My wife owned a fitbit product and was reasonably satisfied. I find this product has enough features to make it useful and interesting, but not enough to cover the spectrum of my workout life. Easy to operate. Comfortable to wear and very accurate. This is definitely a get what you pay for product. As it turns out I would have gladly paid more.

The Blaze works as advertised. It appears to be as accurate as any of these things are. The notifications on the device are handy (texts and calls). The downside is charging, you have to remove the device from the band and clamp it into the included charger. The up side is battery life so far is 4-5 days easily.

I had the Fitbit One (which I clipped to my bra,) but I let my husband borrow it. He ended up losing it, so I got the Blaze. I love it. It keeps me on track, and I like that I could change the band (found a teal and rose gold band,) as well as the watch face. I don’t wear it at night, because I can’t deal with stuff on my wrists when trying to sleep. It seems to be accurate for exercise and calories.

I love that I get my text messages throughout the day without looking at my phone constantly and that I can track my steps all day. The only issue I have had is sometimes I lose the ability to receive texts messages but I just reset the Bluetooth on both the watch and my phone and everything works perfectly again.
