Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its long battery life and ease of use. Many appreciate the device's features and smaller size, finding it comfortable to wear. However, some users express concerns about the band's durability and the display's visibility. The lack of full waterproofing is also a recurring point of feedback.

Excellent!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had 2 other FitBit bands, and the Charge 2 is by far my favorite. It does everything it says. It has been a great motivational support for me to move more often during the day. I have an office desk job, and it is easy to loose track of time and just sit at the desk with minimal movement. The reminders on this tracker keeps me moving during the day. The challenges with friends gives you a great reason to stay active. Heart rate monitor helps you find out your activity level status. Sleep monitoring option let's you know how you slept during the night. I love all the options it has.

Good update to the original Charge HR...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My original Charge HR finally fell apart, and I upgraded to the newest version (at the time) Charge HR 2. Fitbit have definitely improved the design, especially in the way the band attaches. I had to replace my band twice on the original Charge, and it integrated with the tracker...not a good design. The Charge 2 finally has replaceable bands, and the screen is much nicer. My only complaint is that it still isn’t waterproof...something they are fixing in the Charge 3 that was announced just after I bought this :). Overall, however, I’m liking it so far, and would recommend it if you don’t care about waterproofing.

A good wrist tracker.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Charge 2 is the first Fitbit wrist tracker that has appealed to me. I've used the little Fitbit One for several years, but its "pop it into your pocket" nature has led to it taking one too many trips through the washing machine, as I've forgotten to take it out of my pants pocket before washing them. Actually, this is my second Charge 2 -- I was so happy with my first one, I decided to pop for the deluxe Gunmetal version. And yes, I do like the looks of it. However, it turned out that it had an issue: With a firmware update you can install shortly after you set up the device, you can have the Charge 2 show a battery percentage indicator. Unfortunately, that ALWAYS read 100% on this Gunmetal device, while it worked just fine with my older, "normal" Charge 2. Also, when you plug the Charge 2 in its charging cradle, it's supposed to show an animated "battery charging" icon on the screen, but once again, the Gunmetal device would just show that it was already at 100%. The usual fix for something like this is to do a "reset," which only takes a few seconds -- you plug the Charge 2 into its cradle, then hold down the button for about five seconds. And after a reset, both the battery percentage indicator and the charging indicator worked properly. Until the next day, when they went back to being stuck at 100%. So, something wasn't right there. Looking in the Fitbit forum, there were certainly other folks having the same problem, but it didn't seem to be widespread, by any means. Still, all you can do is that "reset" routine, and do you want to do that every day? Since I had my old Charge 2 that worked just fine, I just decided to return this one, and continue using my old one. In the end, this issue isn't that big of a deal -- perhaps I could have exchanged it for another Gunmetal device that would have worked just fine. And some folks have found that their devices that had the problem eventually started working properly. The main point I need to end with is that I sure find the Charge 2 to be an ideal activity tracker: The size and the display are "just right" -- not too big, but big enough to show you the information you want to see. And you can choose what information you want to see on the display, in just about every way you could imagine. I have found the step counting and the exercise tracking to be very accurate. And I have also found the heart rate tracking to be accurate -- I exercise twice a week at a special gym in our local hospital, where we are encouraged to use a pulse oximeter before, during, and after our exercise sessions. So, that's something I always do, with their professional, hospital-grade oximeters. And the pulse readings are often EXACTLY THE SAME between the oximeter and my Charge 2, or, if not exact, the Charge 2 is usually only a beat or two different. I certainly consider that to be accurate enough! So, I highly recommend the Charge 2. I've taken one star off because I had a little problem with this one, but that doesn't change my recommendation that this is an excellent tracker.

Love this gadget!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is addictive! I love it and have dropped seven pounds in the first month simply by monitoring the key indicators on the dashboard and getting my 10,000 steps daily. Easy to use but Fitbit makes it challenging for setting up with older PC and Best Buy didn't offer the dongle necessary to remotely connect with the Charge. I managed a work around so I can use the dashboard. Great device and holds up well during competitive sports like racquetball. Wish it could track blood pressure then it would be beyond perfect.

Investment in your health!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Fitbit! I'm writing this review three weeks after purchasing the Fitbit. I was skeptical that this product would work but three weeks later, and ten pounds lighter, I am pleased to report that this is probably one of the best purchases that I have made thus far this year. It helps keep me motivated and moving. Who knew that a piece of technology could do that?! Someone once said, "what gets measured, gets done." Couldn't be any more true. Anyone on the fence debating this purchase, do it. You will not be disappointed.

Great upgrade from Charge HR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally had the Charge HR, but after having the bands bubble and separate from water exposure (regular hand washing, not submersion), I needed something else. What I Iike about the Charge 2 is that so far it seems much more durable. It's also nice that I can receive text and call notifications as well (I usually try to have my phone on vibrate at work, so tend to miss calls/texts). The breathing excerises have been very helpful and there is also a feature that alerts you to move around every hour for a certain time frame (e.g. 7am to 5pm), which can be nice or you can turn off like I did.

An excellent upgrade from the original HR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my HR 1, which is actually the 2nd of those I've owned after a warranty replacement. The band on the original HR sucked. It began separating from the screen almost immediately and the tiny screen was surprisingly easy to scratch, The HR 2 is better than the original in almost every way. The screen alone is worth the upgrade, but I really like the additional sleep monitoring. Time will tell if this holds up any better than the first iteration, but I'm hoping the replaceable bands helps.

I love my Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not a young kid - I’m an active 67 year older - and I had a perfectly good watch. My daughter bought me a Fitbit, and I reluctantly started wearing it. I soon fell in love with it, and when a few years later my old Fitbit started looking a little worn, I decided to buy myself a new one at Best Buy. It wakes me up each morning, tells me when I have reached 7500 steps, goes a long time between charges, and even lets me read incoming texts. I’ll never own a regular watch again!

Best for Activity Tracking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great investment for some one who is willing to get active and focus on their daily physical activity. Best part of it is active and regular calorie burn, and aesthetic wise it might not feel great for every one.
