The Fitbit Charge 2 Activity Tracker is an outstanding personal health aid. In real time, it tracks and displays your sleep, heart rate, steps and miles walked, calories burned, flights of stairs climbed, and hours of credible exercise activity each day. Once a week, you get a weekly summary for detailed tracking. Great tool.

This device is a complete package to record your steps, heart rate, miles, calories burned, stairs climbed & much more. There are goal settings for food intake, daily activity and sleep monitoring. Alerts for peak physical activity when reached, text and phone messages. The battery lasts 7 days when fully charged. I love my Fitbit Charge 2!

I upgraded and got the Charge as soon as it came out and let me tell you it was well worth the money. I absolutely love the FitBit Charge! I have been using the Fitbit Charge 2 for a while now. The quality of the charge is much better than all prior models. I love the Cardio Fitness Feature on the heart rate monitor, super cool. I really like the Charge HR. The heart feature is helpful and I like it when it tries to get me to walk 250 steps every hour.

Loved the new screen size and the new design of the band from the Charge 1. It still has the reliability of the original Charge HR. The redesign of the band makes it more durable and easier to clean. I also like the idea of being able to switch out the band for a different color. The Charge 1 did not allow changing of the band for a different color. I stuck with the Charge HR because of the price and it had the features I want without the stuff would never use. It is the best value for the price.

I got the Charge 2 HR to replace my Fitbit Alta (and Surge), and I love it! I had previously had the Surge (which I loved for the many awesome fitness tracking features) but it was too bulky, the large band would irritate the skin on my wrist and the band would rip apart too easily (had to have it replaced 3 times). I then purchased the Alta... which I liked for its slim band, however I lost it about 6 months after I got it because the band kept coming apart and falling off. The Charge 2 is the perfect hybrid of the two; it's thinner so that I don't have wrist irritations and it fits well with clothing and gloves, it has the heart rate tracking like the Surge but without the bulkiness, it has the message and call notifications which is awesome, and the most important feature that made me want to get it was that it had a watch style clasp that secured it to my wrist. Ultimately it's everyone's individual choice on what is right and works best for them, but overall I'd recommend the Charge 2 HR as the perfect tracker that blends everything together! Best Buy also had a great deal on them (even better than Fitbit itself!) and it was super easy to order online and pick up in store. Thanks Best Buy! :)

I love my FitBit, It was the best investment for myself in a long time. It keeps me motivated to move especially with my desk job and at home when I am sitting to long watching TV. It tells me when to move and make more steps, checks my heart rate, how may hours I sleep, etc. Also, I enjoy the challenges with my friends. This is a great item

I have had several FitBit units before this one. They were all very good, save for some case issues, which FitBit always fixed. This one, the Charge 2, has a few more bells and whistles than the bare-bones pieces I had before. My last was a Charge HR, which also kept heart rate (HR) info. This seems to have an easier time keeping track, being more accurate. I like the size of the band and face. It offers more information than the last. The menu is customizable, adding or removing the items you want to follow in the app for your phone. I keep it to a manageable (for me) 6. You can set the number of steps you take in a day. It has a Get Up And Move reminder, within its "walk 250 steps each hour" section. You can even take a few minutes for yourself, with the "Relax" and breathe function. Just try it. Not as kumbaya as you thought, huh? The app, and web based dashboard, centralize and compile all your info in one place. You can see how long you slept last night, last week, last month. I work a lot, so this attempt at making sure I get enough rest is very useful/depressing. I chose this over the more "watch" looking FitBits, because I like the slimmer form.

Working construction I wanted a smart watch for the health features as well as the push notifications. This tracker is the best of both worlds. It'll keep an eye on your heart rate and movements, track your sleep, and let me know who's calling / texting me so I don't have to reach for my phone 20' off the ground. All of this for under $200 and I'm not overly heartbroken if something were to happen to it.

This is my First FitBit wearable technology purchase. I have other devices, including the Polar FT7 heart rate monitor with chest strap, the Garmin Fenix 2 with chest strap. I have worn the FitBit Charge HR 2 along with the Garmin Fenix 2 and Polar FT7 and the FitBit's heart rate tracking is very close in accuracy without a chest strap. With the ability to track daily heart rate, caloric expenditure can be calculated. In contrast the Garmin and Polar are stand alone devices while the FitBit needs to be paired via Bluetooth to a smart phone to maximize the data interpretation. But this is where the device shines. As a wellness and fitness tracker, it helps calculate calories in / out ( self entry of your food diary ), it calculates the quality of your sleep, including duration and sleep stage, it promotes active hours, it also has a fluid intake diary - measure the water intake and stay hydrated. By knowing all those data points you can determine what needs to change in your lifestyle and improve it by improving the numbers. I was so impressed by this device I bought one for me and the wife. Definitely worth the purchase to invest in healthy living!

A lot of trackers on the market nowadays, but I chose this one because it included more of the features I was looking for. Particularly sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring. Also like the charging cable that its a clamp on rather than just a plug in and the notifications feature. Don't know what else I could want on a tracker.

I've worn my fitbit 24/7 for over a year with little complaint. I like seeing my cardio workouts and heart rate during daily activities. It tracks sleep well - I loosen the band up more than my daytime setting. The band is starting to gap around where it connects with the face and I suspect I will need a replacement band in time, yet I think I can make this one work for two years.

I'm quite happy with the Fitbit Charge 2 so far. I've been using Fitbit trackers for several years, but this is my first wrist-based tracker. I have found it to be quite accurate, and it does a really good job of recognizing my exercise activities. I particularly like Fitbit's sleep tracking, and it does well with that, too. About the only thing that I'm not entirely happy with is how Fitbit is tending to prefer the use of smartphone apps rather than its online Dashboard -- I have always used the latter for all of my Fitbit trackers, as I use my computer to record a number of health-related information in a spreadsheet. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME Fitbit comes out with new features, it's always "Get the app, get the app, get the app," and you utterly CANNOT get the new features to work on the Charge 2 via the online Dashboard. So, I'm getting tired of being treated as a second-class citizen by the folks at Fitbit. However, if you use the app, then this is of no concern for you, and so far, they have eventually added the new features into their online Dashboard. So, I'm not taking a star off for this, but I certainly find it personally frustrating.

My work has an exercise incentive program that has points for steps and active minutes per day. At 4 different point levels, we get cash rewards for the year. I already have an Apple watch, which I do get steps per day points, but for some unknown reason, they do not allow active minutes from the Apple Watch. Since it was about 4 months into the exercise year before I started to get active, I realized that since the active minutes were easier to max out than the steps, I decided to get this, so I can max out the points each day and give me a shot at reaching the top level. It doesn't compare to what my Apple Watch can do, but for a fitness tracker, it works pretty well. The active minutes between the tracker is pretty close, although you have to exercise at least 10 minutes before the charge will register any active minutes. Once you reach the 10 minute level, you do get those 10 minutes recorded. If you walk less than 10 minutes, you don't get those minutes. The heartbeat monitor readings are within 2 beats per minute with each other. The steps recorded by each device is a little difference. If i just walk, the steps are pretty close, but when I mow the lawn, the charge will record a lot more steps than my Apple Watch. Thankfully, the app we use for the program will take the higher amount between different trackers, so it doesn't matter which one has more steps. The fitbit works well if all you want is a decent device to track your exercise with. Many people at work have a fitbit for the incentive program.
