I made the decision to become more active. The Fitbit is an excellent nudge. In the 3 weeks I have owned this I am walking more.

    Wife Very Happy

Purchased as a gift in December 2019. Has been in everyday use by wife since. She likes the "reminders" to keep moving. Has helped motivate her to more walking. Doesn't have the "bells and whistles" of the higher-end models--but meets all her needs as she doesn't find technology "fun." Simple product, great battery life, easy to use. We lost the power cable to recharge it (who doesn't lose chargers these days) but did find a replacement quickly.

Enjoying the Fitbit Charge 3 Activity Tracker

I am enjoying the Fitbit Charge 3. I have owned several other Fitbits - one being an Alta. This is an improvement over my previous Fitbit. For me this is comfortable to wear. The steps counted, stairs counted, heart rate, miles I have gone in a day, and the other features available are all of interest and value to me including in planning my day and how much and what kind of exercise I am going to do, and what goals to set for activity and exercise.

Battery life is much better than Charge 2, like the larger screen and tracking features, waterproofness is a very nice to have feature

Use mine primarily for tracking sleep and heart rate. I believe you have to sleep a min of 3 hours to track the type of sleep ex REM, deep, light. I do love my Fitbit but haven’t gotten into the relax feature yet. I do think my older model was easier to use when it came to the setting of working out. This one is a little fancier. Not sure if it’s tracking the calories burned right. Overall though great buy. I do wish they weren’t as costly.

Like It, but missing the CURRENT DAY on clock

I require a watch face to include the DAY. I couldn't determine before buying this whether the clock faces included the day, but I saw a package of the predecessor model (Charge 2) and the sample pics on that package displayed a face with the DAY, so I assumed the new model would have it too. Wrong! Actually, the original clock faces were pretty terrible, but so many people were complaining on their blog site that updated faces were noted to be under consideration. I figure they must be coming and they did, however, the ones with the DAY are too hard to read.... If I had known then what I know now (about the DAY displaying) I might have put off the purchase, or looked into another brand. Too late to return now, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that more updates are coming. BUT, if you don't mind not seeing the DAY on the clock face, you just might like it quite well. It is comfortable to wear, and does what it is designed to do plus it is water resistant which allows you to shower and swim while wearing it. I also like the sleep tracker option.

I have had this for 2 months now and it is working great. So far no issues. I last had the Versa and the HR function no longer worked. I decided to try this one more time since all other similar products were overly pricey. There were too many features and this was one of the last remaining items that had the basics for me. I only wanted the HR, sleep, calories, step counter......you know, the main things people want to use these for. So far so good.

Perhaps it is that Fitbit updated the app to support their devices at the same time I upgraded from a worn out Charge2, but it seems the connection to my phone with my Charge3 is not as stable. Maybe, just maybe the app tells us more now about the connection than the old one, and that takes some getting used to? love that I can wear this while in the shower, and running during torrential rains, swimming even, which always felt like "lost time" for workout records with my Charge2.

Great Activty Tracker and Heart Rate Monitor

If you’re on the fence about whether or not you want a fitness tracker, this is for you. I wasn’t sure it would be worth it to get something like this, thinking I would never use it considering I do not wear a watch. However, since I purchased this Charge 3, I have not taken it off. It monitors my heart rate, measures my daily steps, syncs with my phone so I can be notified of incoming calls or see text messages, is water resistant, and much more...all at a great price. Get it - you won’t regret it.!!!

The Fitbit brand is amazing, and this is coming from Apple watch series 3 user, battery life as the box says 7 days hands down, Waterproof all day I take showers, wash dishes, wash the car, water parks. If you are thinking of tracking band this is for you, Now important that I say this all Fitness band and or Apple watches whatever the brand it is NOT THE EXACT measurements, there are only estimates of what you burn or walk, I know bc it is impossible that I reach my goes while driving stick shift.

This fitbit is awesome! I originally just wanted a watch, but who buys "just a watch" in 2019? Not me. Even when I'm not thinking about it, the fitbit will always connect to my phone and tell me how well (or poorly...) I'm doing. It helps me be more conscious of my activity level by reminding me to get up and move around every hour I'm awake. The battery easily lasts me a week or so. I've had it for about a year and have no complaints!

Probably the better version to get of the Fitbit. Never cared for the larger sizes as they feel too bulky and get in the way. This is the perfect size and fits very well. The battery life feels a bit above normal for this type of device which is good. The heart rate monitor is a very nice feature, if only to help keep your mind on it.

The Good The Charge 3 is affordable, lasts a solid week on a charge and can be worn while swimming. It has a larger touchscreen and added features include app notifications, weather, stopwatch and timers. Works with iOS and Android. The Bad Limited watch faces, and you can't get new ones or apps like the Fitbit Versa can. The single haptic pressure-sensitive side button isn't customizable to start workouts. No music storage or remote playback. No GPS (but syncs with a phone's GPS to record runs).

I bought this on may 8th brought it home set it up to my phone and when it came on the screen had white lines through it. I tried to restart it and change the screen but it still had horrible white lines. I called best buy they had me bring it in and get a new one. I sat there for that one to load to my phone to make sure nothing was wrong. It looked fine so I went on my way. About a week or so goes by and now there is lines like pixels are missing. I look on line and see others have had this problem so I contact Fitbit support. They walk me through the 2 different ways to reset it the pixels are still missing so they send me another one. I haven't had this one long so we will see but its frustrating I'm on my 3rd one in less than a month. Yes everyone has been helpful but it just makes you wonder how long this one will last. I had the charge 2 for years and loved it. I had no problem. I only bought the charge 3 because it is waterproof. I wish I would have just stayed with the charge 2.
