To start with, the heart rate doesn't always match the other equipment/monitors and it doesn't match the full 60 second pulse count. It varies by as little as 4%, but 4% can be a huge difference. Synching is a major pain. It shows that it is synching, but it's not actually synching. On the Charge 3 page of the app, it shows synch is in progress. BUT, on the main page, it doesn't show synch is in progress. I disconnect bluetooth, reconnect, and try again. The Charge 3 page will show synch is in progress, BUT you have to watch the main page because it shows synch has ended. According to the app, I have a firmware update available, but it disappears when I try to hit the download button. I tried dragging the screen down with 1 hand and pushing the download button with the other to start the download, BUT the app said it couldn't download because it could find my FitBit...right after syncing. Disconnect bluetooth, reconnect, 2 hand operation to hit download button and it can't find my FitBit again. I couldn't get the update button to show up a 3rd time. I'll try again tomorrow. Yea, I'd recommend to a friend, BUT I'd warn them about the synch problems.

Some years back I got a fitbit but it was impossible to set up so I returned it. I gave up on having one. Then I saw an ad and went to BestBuy to look at the new fitbits. The sales person was helpful and explained how to set it up. He helped me look at various models and figure out which would do what I wanted. After a few minutes of charging and downloading info the fitbit works splendidly and has been a game changer in how much activity I get.

great product, love it, easy to use, long battery life

I love this Fitbit. The sleep portion is the best! I get to see how much sleep I get in each part for example Rem and Deep sleep. I find it so fascinating. The only problem that I have is that I go up and down stairs in my home and it seems to not count that. Once in a while it does. Maybe because I only have one set of stairs. I do love the sleep tracking!

This fit bit was my first fit bit. It holds me accountable to get my steps in and also ample sleep. I love it!

Good product for the price. Disappointed Best Buy can't carry extended warranty on it.

My 3rd Fitbit love the ease of use and waterproof on this one. Would recommend if you can get under 100 bucks.

I lost 30 pounds with all the incentives offered by my fitbit charge 2 watch. Heading for another 20 pound loss and thought the new charge 3 would encourage me to keep up with my fitness routines everyday. I am very pleased with the sleeker appearance of the charge 3 and there are new windows that offer me encouragement. I am totally pleased with my new charge 3 fitbit.

I can't go anywhere without my Fitbit. Love the fact that it is water proof. And I'm getting 9 days on a charge.

I absolutely love this Fitbit- it’s my 3rd. A little wider than my Alta but doesn’t feel as bulky. I got the all black design and have worn all day every day for the past week. The clock face with hands (my choice) is so much easier to read than squinting at a digital readout. I love that I can see my steps and heart rate without changing screens. I like that I can see who is texting me - personal choice not having my call alert on. Overall really impressed!

I am a bit disappointed with the Charge 3. I will give Fitbit props for replacing it when I realized it wasn't working a couple days after purchasing and none of the online-fixes resolved the issues. This was supposed to be an upgrade from my Charge 2 which was a more impressive device with regard to sleep tracking. I have had to play with settings to get the Charge 3 replacement device to work and after a week with the replacement I can't say that I am confident in the tracking accuracy. I expected that it would be wear-ready on day 1. I have been using the Fitbit trackers since they were first introduced and think I will do more research before investing in this brand for the next fitness tracker I buy. I will recommend this product because the price point is somewhat affordable but, caution to the buyer that it may not track sleep as accurately as the Charge 2.

I love having a real-time read of heart rate while exercising. The Exercise - Run option gives accurate distance over a measured course using my default stride length and I like the real-time pace info. Cell call and text notifications are convenient but the calendar notification only seems to occur when an event is added to a calendar but not when the event itself happens. The battery indeed lasts 7 days. The Fit it Charge3 is a very useful device for me.

My girlfriend loves this keeps track of her heart rate. She likes that she can see how she slept at night.

this is a prefect match of form + function if you are looking for a wrist tracker that has a slim silhouette with many options in regard to metrics it is able to capture as well as display. being a non-watch wearer, i wanted a device that felt more like a bracelet than a larger watch. this fits the bill. the longer battery life is also a plus + it charges very quickly in the event you neglect to charge it in time (or regularly).

love the step counting and hourly reminders along with flight counts. Can track sleep and show awake hours

Great price for a great Fitbit. Great activity tracker, heart rate monitor and watch for anyone.

Have been using if for a while now and like the fit and being ae to easily change the bands. I specially like being able to use it to track my sleep quality with the sleep score. The only real issue I have found is that if I'm working out and the underside gets too sweaty, the heart rate reading becomes less accurate at times. Easily resolved by wiping dry.

I stopped using Fitbit while trying other devices for their spin tracking or waterproof ability. Now with updates to software, I can wear 1 Fitbit while working in the yard, and this one as my day-to-day and workout tracker. I am VERY happy. The size is perfect (I have small wrists, and this is not overbearing). The ease of band replacements is another plus. Finally, the Fitbit App is still a huge favorite of mine for its ease of use and customization!
