I bought this watch to replace the Charge HR. The 3 is a great watch with a few more features, including water resistance. I am pleased with it. The only issue I have had so far is notifications. Sometimes they come through on the watch and sometimes they do not. I have all the settings correct, but it seems to be an intermittent issue since the last Fitbit update.

We got this for our homeschooled program loving son. He is enjoying the reminders to get moving and we are enjoying not nagging him. The App on his phone gives him "rewards" and fun facts about how far he has walked. My senior father has one and his doctors love seeing how far he has walked and that he can keep an eye on his pulse rate too. Great gift for all ages. Get the screen cover to help reduce scratches and impacts.

It is great at tracking calories, heart rate and sleep, but it would not sync up the app. It would sometimes takes 3 minutes, sometimes it'd take 7 minutes and sometimes it'd try for 10 min and then it would give up and I'd have to try again.

Know now when my heart is really pumping! with AFib this is a great way to watch your BPM.

But bulky to me, wanted to love these so much and now with the launch of the sense, and the prior iconic (which you needed to wait for firmware for the pulse oximeter to work when this came out), the minimalist works for them, they need to have the HW meet SW at the same time because the quality of the actions are sluggish and lag.

Get a Fitbit. They are awesome. Great for tracking exercise and sleep patterns.
