    Functional and Stylish Enough

My wife and I both purchased these before the Holidays and have enjoyed using them on a daily basis. We've both been very surprised at the level of inactivity our desk jobs evoke, so it's a great reminder to get of our butts and move. I'm a bit surprised that I wear it basically all the time now, as my first impression of the design was not all positive. That has changed as it really wears like a modern watch design. The ability to customize the display on the device from the app or Fitbit website is great. I don't care about how many flights of stairs or ounces of water that I drank, so I removed them from the device all together. The accuracy of the pedometer seems as good as any I've used and how Fitbit evokes a friendly competition with other Fitbit-ers is pretty cool. The alarm is handy, the sleep monitoring has been an intriguing bit of data to review each morning and overall the device seems to be holding up well to our active lifestyles. My only complaint is that it's not waterproof, thus not allowing it to be worn for pool or lake activities or, of course, showering. We've recommended the Fitbit brand to others since our purchase and now have a nice little network of people that we can "compete" with for daily activity goals. Easy to wear, accurate enough, clock function, great Fitbit mobile app.

The Fitbit is easy to use and holds a charge good. This model also logs sleep and amount of time restless to determine quality of sleep. Engaging in challenges with friends helps to motivate you to exercise more. Easy to sync up with cell phones and tablets. I would recommend it without hesitation. A fun way to track activity level, calories burned, and increase exercise with healthy competition. Just remember it is not waterproof.

My wife loves this thing. The battery life is great usually lasting in around a week between charges. She can usually charge it overnight. It syncs up with her phone without issue. Something that I wasn't a fan of, is that the display is not always on. so you have to press the side button or tap the display to get information. I'm just used to my Pebble Steel that the screen is always on I suppose. One of her gripes is that it is not waterproof. Its water resistant, but they say don't take it in the pool. So just be aware of that.

    Product Tip

There are many reviews which describes the Charge's capability, I myself love this product, but I'll keep this review short and to the point with a consumer tip. Beware of the band. The charge does not come with a buckle that secures the watch to your wrist. It secures with two buttons that clips into the holes and that's it. I had my first charge for no more than a week. After wearing it day in and day out it almost felt unnoticeable. Well it just so happened after returning from work, upon getting ready to shower I noticed it was missing. Looked all over for it. This wasn't the first time it came off, except previous cases I managed to noticed it falling off. This time I didn't, and I can suspect as to why because it happened to me before. I think it happened when I was putting on my backpack. Since I wear my charge on my non dominant arm (my right), it is the last arm that I put through the strap on my backpack. When I threaded my right arm last through the backpack strap I believe that was when the charge made contact and it fell down without me noticing. I went back to best buy to get me another one and to see if fitbit made any securing device for the charge. I noticed however the fitbit hr the model above the charge, came with a buckle to secure it. I wanted to buy one but apparently it was a high commodity item, it was sold out. So I went and got a charge again because I love the product. Now I use electrical tape to secure it to my wrist for the most part and now keep a conscious mind as to what I do with my right arm. It would be a downside if I lost this one too. This resulted on the rating as is, if it had the buckle, it would've easily been five stars.

After researching online, I decided to give this a try after my Jawbone UP24 died. It's lightweight and comfortable. I hardly know that it's on my wrist. It also integrates with Loseit. I love the fact that it also tracks stair flights and that it receives call notifications. If it received text notifications, I would've given it 5 stars. The automatic sleep feature is great and seems accurate. All in all I'm enjoying this device.

Overall I really like my fitbit and I am really happy with my purchase. The battery last around 3 days. Some of my favorite things about my fitbit is that it tracks your sleep and it has silent alarms that wake you up by just vibrating on your arm. Although I do love it is wish that the little screen on it could show more information. If you are looking for a small casual watch that also track fitness this is a great product.

This really keeps me aware of how much I'm moving. My kids will check my progress and if I need more steps for my daily goal, they encourage me. I really love that it tracks my sleep patterns. That has also made me change things to help ensure I get 8 hours. Only downsides are: it scratches easily, it's really clunky, and the colors leave much to be desired. If they would improve on the colors, they would sell a lot more. Now there's the Alta, much slimmer, but I'm not about to shell out another $130.

I have previously owned the Fit Bit Flex and the Fit Bit and this by far is the best one. While it is a little more bulky than some of the other bands out there, this one works really well and accurately! Purchased ones for my husband and daughter too - both really like them as well. New sleep feature/tracker seems right on each night - pretty cool.

I purchased this for a Christmas gift for my husband as he seemed somewhat interested after looking at another similar product. He put this on Christmas day and has used it every day so far. It is very easy to use and does a great job motivating him to just take the few extra steps. We will be purchasing a second one for me in the very near future.

    Longtime Fitbit User

This is my fifth Fitbit, from the original, to the Zip, to the Force (my favorite before this one), the Flex, and now this one. This one is comparable to the Force, which I loved, but with a tougher, thicker band. It does the job tracking my steps & sleep (with occasional sync issues there, but that may be my phone). I liked the clock interface, and the texture of the band, but didn't want to pay more of features I wouldn't use (such as GPS) on the more expensive models. This fits my needs perfectly.

Fitbit Charge is easy to use and is usually fairy accurate;does not come with instructions for set up, you need to go on the website and set everything up, Fitbit sends fun sayings,,badges and little reminders to help you meet your goals, the altimeter works on air pressure so you get stair climbi get levels for walking up or down hills, I have increased my steps to the point where 10,000 steps is no big deal anymore

Bought for my wife as a 'just because' gift. She had a hard time latching the clasp at first but its easy now that it's broken in. She loves the silent alarm feature and the caller ID is a little bonus. But she uses it for what a Fitbit is: a step counter. Bought the black one becasue it won't discolor over time with oils, sweat, and dirt. She has a small wrist (6.5 or so) but I got the large and it fits perfectly. Right in the middle of the adjustments. It syncs very well with an iPhone 6.

If you're looking for a lightweight health tracker and watch wearable the fitbit charger might be your best bet at least it was for me. My kids loved it that I bought them the charger for each one of them. Life battery is probably one of the best. It lasts for a week+ before I have to get it recharged compared to daily charging by other wearables. Love it for its simplicity, lightwight and style.

I received my Fitbit Charge as a suprise birthday gift. I had bariatric surgery two years ago and I want to keep the weight I lost off and to lose some more. So far, my device has worked well, tracking sleep, steps and work outs. Unfortunately, I"ve been sideined from most workouts due to a knee injury so I can't comment on that yet, but the functions I have done, the performance has been good.

The tracker does a lot. Watch. Floors. Miles. Calories. Steps. The alarm feature really helps me to keep my total health in check with medicines, etc. The digital display is clear. Set up was super easy. The only downside is it seems to take a while to sync to my phone, but it's not horrible. The sleep tracker is automatic and helps me work with my physician on a plan to get better rest.

I've been wearing my FitBit Charge for eight months now, and am extremely happy. It tracks my steps and flights of stairs fairly accurately and is a great tool to push me to be more active. If I'm close to hitting my step goal for the day, looking down and knowing exactly what I need to get there is great! My husband and I also make it a competition between us to see who can get the most steps! It's no GPS tracker, but its perfect for people that want to be more active!

I have been more than pleased with this device, so much so that I have convinced my Wife and Sister to each get one. Our competition will start soon. I have found that this motivates me to do better each week and functions as described. I have lost 25 lbs since my purchase in late May 2015. I will definitely upgrade in a year or so. I think everybody should own one of these.
