The Charge was purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I've had several Ones, a recalled Force, and personally now use an early release Charge HR. The last few days I have worn both her Charge and my Charge HR. Opinions: Returning Charge due to remarkably poor battery performance -- dead with 22-30 hours after a full charge. The Charge HR battery isn't great, lasting around four days -- never seen close to the "up to seven" days Fitbit cites in promos. Four days I can live with....daily charge needs, no way. The phone/text of HR works well, but I did need to update my iOS system to get it to work with my older iPhone. Love the alarm, too. The HR function is very helpful and tracks accurately against my strap-on treadmill monitor. I very much appreciate the buckle strap on the HR and when I tried her Charge was reminded how difficult I found the Force clasp which was slightly more challenging than the Charge.
Sum: because of the HR function and much simpler band connection (and possibly battery issues (tho her issue may be isolated) I would definitely spring the extra $$ for the HR model. I am giving the HR to daughter and have ordered the Surge for myself. One more point: so far I am concerned with how much I'm scratching the screen on the Charge HR...if this trend continues, it may become a serious issue.
Not perfect yet, but I've enjoyed my Fitbit devices and appreciate their innovations and refinements.

The difference between Fitbit and other trackers is the motivation factor. It motivates me to move more. If you have small wrist it may not be as comfortable though, it is a bit stiff to wear. The battery lasts long. I like the fact that I can see the time too, so that I do not have to wear a watch in addition

I wear my fitbit 24/7 . The only time I take it off is to shower. It tracks my steps and tracks my sleep.
The best part is to pressure your friends and family members to get one and then you can all compete for weekly or daily steps. This competition is honestly the most healthy thing I've ever experienced. It motivates me more than anything in the past. well worth the price.
It also comes with a free app for android or iphone and it is very very good.

I love this fit bit very easy to set up and get started online it tracks all your steps and a perfect watch it keeps track weekly of your best days and least active days , lets you know in a email when battery is low and just plug it in for couple hours and your ready to go. Perfect for what I was looking for and Best Buy matched the online price

I received my fit bit as a Christmas present. My husband and I love to walk but had been so busy with holiday preparations we had really slacked off. Once I had my fit bit the fun began. We started to hike Pinkney Island. We had so much fun being out on the trails, we hiked 45 miles the first week! Appalachian Trail look out because here we come. By the way, we are not spring chickens, together we have 133 years on this earth!

I like the features this product has especially the caller Id. Since I purchased the fitbit I've kept myself motivated. It helps me keep a healthy conscious outlook by monitoring my steps and distance. So much info in such a Lil gadget! I've replaced my watch with the Fitbit! People always ask what it is and are intrigued at all that it can do! I love it! GREAT for everyone who cares about their health and fitness!!!

It's great for running or activities where steps are involved but not sure how accurate it is for cardio activities and strength training. I do like the ability of being able to keep a log of food eaten and how it calculates calories burned. It also provides you with a notification that you've met your daily goal. That's a cool feature.

I received my fitbit as a Christmas gift. I have never had anything like it. I absolutely love it. It is thin and sleek on., b It is amazing how it is a watch, but can also keep track of your steps, calories burned,it gives you a graft at the end of the week of your overall workouts, tells you your weight and if you have lost or gained any
in the past week. It is a fun way to help you see your progress.

Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. She wears it all the time and it seems pretty easy to use. She can go a full week w/o charging it and works well if you remember to set it into its different modes like sleeping. I haven't seen her utilitze the cpu functionality for it yet so I'll update the review once she's done so.

Not only does the fitbit track your steps, but it also works as a watch.
The battery lasts about a week and only takes 1 hour to charge fully.
The app for smartphones is excellent and provides a lot of feedback.
You can also add friends and have a friendly daily or weekly competition for steps.
Definitely makes you think twice about that decision to take the elevator and i now always take the stairs!

The charge fit bit accurately tracks your steps, distance, flights of stairs, and calories.
Great way to track overall your burn on a daily basis.
Drawback for the charge is that it won't track any other type of exercise that is not related to walking or running. You can't enter in other types of activities either.

My wife wanted this for her birthday so I got it for her. She loves checking her sleep patterns and quality as well as her daily steps taken and flights of stairs climbed. This particular Fitbit also monitors her heart rate. I tried it out too and thought it was pretty cool, I may be getting one for myself soon!

Overall, I really like the Fitbit Charge. It may not count steps with 100% accuracy, but that wasn't the reason I bought this. It encourages me to get out and move more. The battery lasts at least a week. I like the sleep tracking functionality as well. Nice graph in the app shows how restless your sleep was.

I got my Fitbit Charge as a gift and am happy with it. It does everything expected and integrates well with the Fitbit iPhone app. I'd like it better if it was a little thinner, had a medium size and came in more stylish colors. I also found the clasp difficult at first, but I'm getting more used to it.

I got the Fitbit Flex for Christmas and recently got my wife the Charge. The Charge is a great step up from the Flex in that it records several more elements and has a display. With its clock function, it can be the only item on your wrist. While we love the features, I have one major and one minor gripe. The devices are not waterproof: this could have been addressed and probably will (my guess) in a later more expensive version. That is the minor gripe. The pin rather than clasp locking on both of these models is pitiful. You must buy a much more expensive model just to get a simple clasp that works. My wristband popped off twice. The first time, it was missing for several days; the second time it was gone forever. There is no excuse for this poor attention to service.

I had one last year and had to return it due to the recall and a rash on my arm. I have been waiting patiently for a year and I am very happy. I considered the Charge HR but decided to keep with the basic. The Caller ID feature is new and fun. I also love the silent sleep alarm. The tracker keeps me motivated to reach 10,000 steps a day. I recommend it to anyone.

I do enjoy this very much. The biggest downside is that the battery only lasts about 3-4 days if you're lucky. I typically have to charge it up every 2-3 days. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase. I previously had the Jawbone UP24, and it would stop working after about 45-60 days. I ended up having to replace it four different times. After that, I decided to make the switch to Fitbit.
I love the Charge because it has a screen to reference the time, steps taken, calories burned, distance covered, flights of stairs climbed and any alarms you may have set. It also alerts you when someone calls with a vibration and the name/number of who is calling. The best part is the vibration alert when you have met your daily step goal.
Overall, I am impressed with the Fitbit Charge. It keeps me motivated and keeps me on track with getting up and moving when I can see that I haven't been as active as I'd like. It also pushes me to get in my steps when I am close to hitting my goal.

Purchased for my wife because she wanted some sort of activity tracker. She loves this thing! Syncs with the app to show sleeping patterns, stairs climbed, steps taken and a whole lot more. Also, when connected to the phone via Bluetooth it shows the caller ID on the FitBit screen.

This was an upgrade from my free plain fitbit. I needed a watch and wanted to see the actual numbers for steps and more about stairs, calories, etc w/out having to log onto the app. Covers all the bases for me.

I'm definitely impressed with my Fitbit. The Fitbit keeps track of my daily activities such as walking up and down steps, back and forth to mailbox, taking out the trash which helps me keep track of my daily exercise goals. I also love the Caller ID feature which allows me to screen calls without pulling my cell phone out my back pocket
