I bought this for my wife for Christmas, because it's what she wanted, and she loves it! She works very hard to stay fit and trim and it helps her. The Fitbit software is excellent, much better than Garmin's, which I tried out with the Garmin Vivofit. She records what she does and what she eats; it helps her keep on task. In the first month, she has had no problems with it coming off unexpectedly as some have reported. I will probably buy her one of the little bands to prevent it from becoming unlatched, but that's down the road. Overall, it's everything I could ask for in an activity tracker.

Look at it all day long. Use dashboard to track calories and it tracks steps and activity and monitors sleep. First week I doubled my steps and activity.

It tracks your daily steps and calories by day, and monitor your sleep by night. Unlike older Fitbit devices.

My wife loves it. The battery lasts all week, it seems pretty accurate. The ios app is great but the web based tools are better. All in all, a great product.

I first purchased the FitBit Flex about a year ago. I wanted something to keep track of my exercise and to motivate me to move a little more. When you are at over 8,000 steps you will walk around the living room to get to 10,000. I upgraded recently to the FitBit Charge because I wanted the convenience of seeing my progress throughout the day without opening an app. Honestly for the first several months I did not use the FitBit Charge to its full potential. I recently googled the Charge user manual and found out it does so much more than I thought. I kept wondering why it said I only did 23 steps when I know there were way more than 23 steps in the four flights of stairs I took several times a day. Then I realized it was flights of stairs. I'm still not sure how the Charge calculates a flight but at least I understand it better now. I also found out that by holding down the side button at the beginning of my workout it will track my specific workout progress. And that I can identify multiple methods of exercise. Rowing, walking, circuit training, running etc. The only thing I would like, and it might have this option but I just don't know how or where, is a 'map' of my progress when I am outside walking. Overall, I'm glad I upgraded to the FitBit Charge.

I liked this better than flex because it has display and call notifications, however its bigger than flex and feels uncomfortable on the wrist and also its not waterproof.

I purchased this on January 10 and wear it all of the time. So far I am doing very well with it. My track record with staying on any plan is not good so I'm hoping that this time will be different. It is very light and most of the time I forget that I'm wearing it. I have it linked with my phone and am notified whenever a call comes in. It also has a great alarm that I use daily. The only issue that I have is the charging cable is only about 6" long. No idea why it is so short. But I only use it every 5 days or so. All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

I researched all the popular fitness trackers and decided on the Fitbit Charge. I wanted to have the ability to check my progress on the Fitbit band itself and have the ability to download all the information on my computer OR my smartphone. It is an easy setup. It is very comfortable and stylish ( I decided on black because it matches everything). My only complaint is that I have problems getting it on, but once it's on, it stays on.

I love this watch because it is a more slim design and has the option to show the time and the date on the display screen, I am not 100% sure how accurate the steps tracker is on it but the sleep tracker is fabulous and really let's me know what my sleep pattern is. Overall I really like the watch just wish the steps tracker was more accurate.

The Fitbit Charge features multiple ways to track your health. It tells time along with the day's date, steps walked, miles walked, calories burned, and stairs climbed. The fitbit can also act as a stopwatch to record the time you hold down the only button on the Fitbit to when you stop the stopwatch. In that duration as well, the Fitbit tracks how many steps walked, miles walked, etc. One of the cool features the Fitbit can also do is track how many hours you slept. It is 90% accurate when logging sleep. The Fitbit can also be an alarm by waking you up by vibrating on your wrist. I have a roommate and my Fitbit alarm does not wake my roommate at all. The quality of the Fitbit charge is questionable however. My first Fitbit died after 2 months. The display died out but Fitbit customer service was great when assisting me. They sent me a new one within a week of calling for help. The method/clip to secure the Fitbit around your wrist does seem weak however. The quality is the reason I will not give it 5 stars. I take great care of my electronics and the Fitbit is the first to die in my electronics family. Battery lasts me up to a week. Never over a week however. You can charge the Fitbit extremely quickly. I believe it takes me 2 hours to fully charge the Fitbit from 5% to 100%. The cable to charge the Fitbit is proprietary so you can not use your simple USB cable to charge the Fitbit. I am warning you when you buy the Fitbit and have used it for a week, it may be hard to perform your daily tasks without it. The Fitbit is a lifestyle that'll you love.

I definitely enjoy being able to see the quantifiable data when it comes to my daily activity, but I am actually waiting on the ChargeHR because I want to see a more accurate assessment of my daily and fitness routine activity with the heart rate included. I don't believe that the Charge gives a true reading of calories burned due to the lack of not being able to consider the heart rate at it's highest peaks during activity.
