Tracks steps just by wearing it, you have to put in your excersize and sleep. Then you check it on your iPhone, and iPad .

The Fitbit Flex is great to get people active. The challenges you can set up against other Fitbit users are fun and can bring out a competitive streak to help you achieve goals and reach for or maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle.

    Why I miss my Fitbit

The wrist band clasp is so flimsy that I never noticed when my 1 week old $140 fitbit fell off and got lost. So even though I loved it and loved the ability to see my daily movement at a glance or chart it on the browser. The joy and thrill was short lived, I thought it a bit weak of a clasp but foolishly trusted the manufacturers surely would have thought of this and maybe it just looks flimpsy, I'm sure there is a reason tehy had to make it this way. well I guess either they did not think it through or the intention was for the buyer to fall in love with what it does then lose it and have to go out and buy another. You know they've made wrist watches for quite a long time and the clasp is a bit more secure - maybe because watch makers don't want you to lose your watch during the first week after you buy it. Maybe a future version of the fitbit can come with GPS so you can track it down or they can sell them in a 12 pack or maybe - lets get radical and create a better wrist band!

It's sleek and comfortable. So light weight I forget I'm wearing it. My only complaint is that steps get added when I'm doing dishes or laundry and not moving my feet.

The iphone mobile app is great. The readings are accurate. The sleep mode is interesting. It keeps track of your sleep patterns and shows when you move around in your sleep.

I've been using it for over a month now and it has really helped me quantify my daily activity (steps taken, calories burned). Together with improved diet and exercise, it has helped me lose over 15 pounds. The app is a free download for your smartphone, and I recommend using it instead of the website. Also, the silent alarm feature is a great addition, and is an easy way to remember to get up early without waking your partner.

    Keeps Me Going

It took me awhile to decide to purchase the Fitbut, mainly because of not wanting to waste money on something I might put down. I now consider it a partner in helping me stay motivated as well as help understand my sleep patterns better. So far the extra push ahs helped me stay more active. I like the report functions and the wake light buzzing wake up feature. Have not used an alarm clock in 3 weeks. If your serious about taking steps to be more active this is a good companion for the price compared to some others that are on there.

This device will help keep you on track for your weight loss goals. It is sometimes hard to always add in every ingredient of every meal, which is the downfall for me.

I really enjoy the Fitbit and its app. The only problem I have with the Flex is that there is no display yet it's still $100. I also bought a Charge and I've found myself solely using it since it displays the time (and all your activity). The Flex is really nice if you buy the extra colored bands and switch them out to match outfits. Also if you don't mind looking at your phone for ALL the information your FitBit is tracking. Overall the Flex is a very good product but I prefer the display.

I love my Flex Fitbit because it's one that can actually withstand water! I shower in it every day. It's been in the pool, the ocean, the river and totally tolerates sweat. It's not fancy, but it's durable.

This tracks my steps accurately. I like the Challenges feature. I do believe it gives too much credit for Calories burned per day. I don't rely on this device for that.

I had one of the original fit bits and liked it but I often forgot to put it on when I had the chance to slip in some exercise. It eventually went the way of lost socks. I had gotten used to having one and had to replace it. I like the fact I could wear it al the time, not worry about getting wet and it recharges very quickly. The biggest thing I miss is not being able to see my daily stats until I sync it with my iPhone.

It's fun to see progress and be able to track activity, water intake, etc. The only thing I'm not so sure about it is the accuracy of the sleep tracker, but otherwise I'm really happy with it, and I just bought my husband one, too.

I wish the smaller fitbit had a watch since you have to wear it all the time to get the most from it. It doesnt always sync to my phone which is a little bit frustrating. This means I have to take the time to turn on my laptop to get it to sync each morning. This should be easier and should sync with the phone automatically once I click the "Im awake" button. Overall, I like the fitbit and the ability to track my sleep, my steps and my daily food intake. You dont realize how many calories you are intaking until you have to account for them!

Love the Fitbit line of products, bought this as a gift after using mine for almost a year. Would recommend this for any one looking to increase their activity as it really keeps you aware of how little or much you are doing.

I had the original Ultra Classic fitbit and liked it. But this one is easier to wear, and works well with the android phone app. I like it so well I bought one for both my adult children. It is a great reminder to get some activity in.
