Not an improvement

Other than that, it's a big fail as basic Fitbits go. First, the alarm - it's so feint it can barely be felt. After looking at the Fitbit help site, this seems to be an issue for a lot of people. Second, the strap is ugly - and that's a given with most Fitbits. But this one is extremely to remove so that an aftermarket strap can be switched it. You have to have tiny fingers and good dexterity. There are a few other improvements but the downsides make my old Alta just as functional for me if not more so. Also, Fitbit hasn't solved the "trying to sync" on multiple devices. If you want to sync on more than one device, it requires a lot of resetting each time you do it. NOT worth the effort. I'm planning to return and keep looking for something water-resistant to update my Alta.
