Bought one for my wife too, great battery life out of all I looked at this was the best .. and so far research paid off.. its been great

Use it all the time for what I do during the day and how I sleep at night. If you have moderate tech ability you can use this. Worth the cost.

All the functions you need with the benefit of a rechargeable unit. No more changing out the odd ball batteries every month.

Battery life is LONG - step counting is great - All in all I really like my Fitbit. I am sure in time it will keep track of heart rate and that would be a plus - but for now - it's a great, fun tracker!

Since this can be clipped to your belt or put into your pocket, I think this is more accurate than the flex. Also, it is nice that it had the time.

I wish I knew when I ordered it after the first of the year that the wrist model was coming out soon, I think for the expensive price I would have waited for the bracelet version but now can not afford both.

This is a great little unit for the price. I bought this for the girlfriend and she couldn't be happier. The amount of steps seems to be a bit off, but the distance traveled was almost dead on. The altimeter in the unit is neat to track steps but can also be set off by other elevation changes so be sure to remember that. The software for this is great and it is really nice that you can use the software on your phone and computer. So far this thing is working great and is easily hidden on a bra or on your hip depending on attire.

I purchased a Fitbit Alta, which I really like with the exception that is doesn't work well on the treadmill. I purchased the Fitbit One to go with it since it works perfectly on the treadmill. The Fitbit app switches automatically when I take off the Alta and put on the One and then switches back when I change back to the Alta. This way, I get the convenience of an attractive wearable device without having to lose track of the steps taken on the treadmill. For me, it's a perfect combination.

I had a Fitbit Flex and we take cruises every year and I tired of the awkward tan line. This one is easily concealed!!!

This is a great tool to jumpstart your health. We are using the fitbit to get everyone excited about getting into shape fir the summer.
