I love the pedometer. Great tool to use as an incentive to get up and get moving. Allows me to set goals and to track my activity levels each day. Use in combination with the scale and you food entry gives you a 1-stop portal to track your weight, your activity levels and what you eat. I would very much recommend this device!!!

I think its good as long as you don't expect too much, and I don't have anything to compare it to as far as similar products. I have been using it for a few days and have noticed the stair calculation to be pretty inaccurate. It showed me taking 43 flights of stairs when I really only took 1. I looked at the timeline and it seems think that I was walking stairs when I was really riding the school bus for my daughters field trip. So, based on that, I'm not really certain its telling me accurate calorie data either. I've found the mileage tracking to be fairly accurate however. On long walks it did match up with the RunKeeper GPS distance calculation. The online Dashboard doesn't really tell me much either, and I haven't found a way to edit the data when its inaccurate, as in the case of my stair count.

I like this device for how it tracks. I love the alarm as i use that instead of alarm clock. Have lost 2 and washed one. Would prefer to get the wrist u it, but it doesn't have the display like this device and I don't like having to sync before seeing my progress. Would be nice if the could design decent looking bands to put this FitBit in. The wrist unit now being sold has the too casual gel bands and would like a bit classier band.

I had the fitbit one 4 years ago and went swimming with it which destroyed it. It was past the warranty so I bought the wrist fitbit hr and it was not recording my steps properly. My husband has the same model and he can get 10000 steps just sitting at his desk all day! I went back to the One model and it is working better. The milage is off, but I know how far I'm walking on my 3 mile walk ☺

I had to purchase this as a replacement for my last Fitbit One. They seem to last about 2-3 years. I've always been happy with the Fitbit products and their app is by far the best. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a small, discrete step tracker. (I do not use if for tracking sleep, but it does come with a cloth wristband that you can place the tracker in and wear at night.

I got this because a few people I know have one. I would have prefered to have gotten a cheaper one. This does some really neat stuff when you sync it to your phone or computer. But otherwise its just a tracker. The rubber holder has a plastic ended clip which the plastic covering came off the 3 day I used it. It is sensitive enough too that when you move it, bump it, or even ride in the car, it will add steps to your count.

I purchased the Fitbit One because a couple of my friends had one and gave it a good recommendation. I have been pleased so far. It works well with my iPhone and computer to keep track of my progress.
