The step count seems to be fairly accurate. The sleep quality is not that great but I like the fact that it excludes the sleep time from the active time. It counts a move as being awake and no movement as being asleep which is not accurate for me. The Very Active Minutes (VAM) is not accurate. I walked 30 minutes at 2.5 to 3 mph and it counted 4 minutes as VAM and they weren't all consecutive. I know 1 minute was while I was walking 2.5. If it counted 1 minute, why can't it count the whole 30 minutes? I asked Fitbit Support but all I got was the standard answer on how VAM are counted. That didn't explain why it counted 4 and not the remaining 26 minutes. I looked on the fitbit forum and I'm not the only one with this issue. I have been considering getting the Basis Watch. I've heard some good reviews on it.

Love the Fitbit! Bought one for myself and one for my daughter also. Gets you motivated to a healthier lifestyle. I wear it everyday and try to get more steps than the day before. Join your friends on Fitbit and keep each other motivated, also challenge each other!

I've gone through about 4 of these now (on number 5). Thank goodness I purchased the warranty. The first three just stopped working...and the fourth one stopped syncing with the fitbit website. The newer model does seem to be an improvement from the last. I suggest you purchase the warranty

I have lost weight using the FitBit and the free app. It's very motivating to get feeedback on your exercise level. It really brings it to light. So now, I take the stairs instead of the elevator just to help my stats. I am more active, eat less and I am getting the results.

Battery life is adversely affected by syncing to a smart phone automatically. Need to change to manual syncing to prevent quick discharge. Also, only way to determine remaining battery life is to first plug the device into the charger, which is nutty. The device should display remaining battery life by pressing the button. Other than this, the device is good.

Work out of the box as expected. We have bought multiples for the family and it is great to see how each other is doing with the app. A very solid and reliable product thus far. Just remember to sink the device every 3 days if you do not have a Bluetooth enabled smartphone.

I read many reviews on the One before purchasing, and it's perfect for me. It is discreet and tracks floors climbed, which was important to me. Would definitely purchase again for myself or a gift. And the fitbit app is very easy to use. Five stars!

Very reliable. More accurate than other pedometers I have tried.

My only problem with this device was that it didn't hold tight enough on clothes and I lost it!

Nice little record keeper. I am impressed. So far the fitbit has accomplished everything that it said it would do and everything that I needed it to do. I have used this for a little over a month with no issues. I know everyone won't agree or sometimes run into one with a defect, but so far I haven't encountered any problems. I would highly recommend.

Works well. Relatively easy to use. Very helpful & fun to use.

Using a FitBit each day builds discipline and the rankings with friends pushes me to Always get 10,000 steps or more. I only wish I could Better control what I eat! The Fitbit software has a great place to track that too but I fail to do it!!!!

I was hanging out for the Flex but after the wait decided on this one as I wanted the instant readout anytime! Im glad I did and this newer model than the one I had and unfortunately lost, is definitely better. I read the reviews and thats what swayed me to tis model

Does what it is supposed to do. Accuracy is very good.

I'm sure it's a user problem. I got this for my 73 year old mother and she continues to have trouble getting it to sync up. I live 3 hours away and trying to fix it over the phone has been impossible. I'll see her in three weeks where I get it going. I just thought it would be user friendly but maybe not if your 73.
