    Good but...

Good tracker but the case sucks. You have to take it out of the case to charge and if you've had it for a while the rubber gets stretched and weaker.

I like the fitbit one, my wife has one and I decided to get the same. I tried another item for about 2 weeks and even though it was cheaper what i didn't like was the battery life. This one lasts me about 2 weeks even though it says 1 week

The battery lasts a long time .... 2 plus weeks at a time. Also charges fully within 10 minutes. Has everything I need in one small contraption.

    The Best

I love Fitbit products and this one is a standout. Fully accurate and discreet...you can wear it anywhere. There are some reports that the holder wears out over time, but customer service is great about replacing items that wear out "before their time."

The device as well as the wrist band sucks. It keeps on falling from the wrist band.

Love the fitbit. My wife and I both have a tracker and they have helped us tremendously. So easy to use, updates both on computer and iphone, so we are always able to see where we are. Challenges you to be more active and rewards you when you are.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday. She loves fitness and this was a nice techie gift in the right price range. She loves to use it to track her steps, stairs, and also sleep.

I have had my Fitbit for about a week now and I love it! It is very accurate and I love being to wear it in several places depending on my outfit! I did have an issue with the calorie tracker section as you have to manually enter a majority of the foods but solved that problem by linking my Sparkpeople account to it!

Bought this for my daughter who was looking for a tracker and has proven to be unobtrusive, easy to use and syncs with her iPhone and mac very nicely. Perhaps I get the Surge watch for myself next!

I found it before I knew I lost it

While walking my route I found my Fitbit on the ground in the dark. Pure luck. I didn't realize I had dropped it about 25 minutes earlier when I had been walking by the same area. I have read many reviews for this product on various sites and I am amazed at how many people lost their fitbit within the first couple of weeks. The clip and the holder can not be trusted at all. The only place I know I will not lose it is in my pants pocket. If you keep an eye on your Fitbit like it was a winning lottery ticket then it works great and I personally love it. I lost it by clipping it to my jeans. Do NOT do this. It will fall off and you WILL lose it. Also be aware that the Fitbit site that keeps track of your accomplishments and goals offers some great tools but if you want to utilize them all you will have to pay extra for a membership. Until Fitbit addresses the issues with the clip and the holder this product is not ready for resale and gets 4 stars. I still love it though. (put it in your pocket or else)

    Gift for Hubby

This is a great device. My hubby is motivated to be more active. But he's a big guy and he doesn't wear the wrist band that holds the tracker at night to monitor you sleep (awakenings) disruptions. Part of the functionality is wasted. I could've bought him the simpler version.

    Almost Great

I've had this One for a year and it has been great and lousy. I love the big screen and all the info you can get on it but because it's not a wrist band style I have lost it a dozen times. Trying to find it is a test in hearing and patience. I don't "clip" it to my belt I usually just put it in my pocket so I blame my memory. My wife's One went through the laundry and died. So it's not laundry proof. But Fitbit replaced it for me which is why I promoted this review to an extra star. I just got the Charge and couldn't be happier. I didn't initially get a wrist band style because I don't like wearing watches but the Charge doesn't feel like I'm wearing one. The $30 price difference is well worth it when you factor in the time it takes to find a lost One and now the added functionality of Caller ID. You be the judge!

    great, except for the case

Love the pedometer. It has extras I never thought about, like tracking the most active parts of the day with the app. I wear it every day on my pants pocket, but the case starts getting loose around six months. In fact, the Fitbit fell out of the case at work. I'm glad I noticed, but I really don't want to spend more money on the case after spending $100 to get it in the first place. It feels like a silicon phone case, so if anyone has had one of those for a bit, you know what I'm talking about.

I purchased this to track my steps and flights of stairs. It is so fun to track my progress. Just remember to not send it through the wash machine.

I love it! The app works great in keeping track of my activities and it syncs with SparkPeople. It is expensive but I bought it to keep track of my activity to help me reduce weight and improve my health. It is small and it can be lost easily if you are not careful. I lost it once, but knew it was somewhere in the public space (museum) I was visiting by trying to sync it to my iPhone. Someone found the Fitbit and turned it in to the front desk. I got lucky!

    Love my 2nd Fitbit!

Bought my 2nd Fitbit after putting my first one (not the One) through the wash. I love being able to get a sense of my activity levels through the day. The website interface can be cumbersome, and I particularly dislike the fact that I have to remember the beginning and ending time of every single car trip so I can remove the steps my Fitbit acquires when I get to a computer.

    Good Clip Based Tracker

I had a Fitbit Force, but returned it after the recall. Since I wanted a wrist tracker that also could also function as a watch, the Fitbir Flex was not an option..I read reviews of several other wrist trackers (Garmin, Polar, Basis), but none seemed to have the features of the Force. I decided to buy a Fitbit One and just place it in my pocket during the day. This worked out okay, bit one day after a workout, I left the Fitbit in my pants. Although I checked the pockets before washing, the Fitbit is so small ( I used the Fitbit without putting it in the clip holder) that I didn't feel it in the pocket. One wash and it met an early demise. Hopefully Fitbit comes out with its Force replacement soon.

I love it. It's great to have a reminder at your fingertips to motivate you. The sleep tracker was a eye-opener to how poorly I slept.
