    Amazing Tracker

I bought this so I could glance at texts when pulled over while riding my bike or see who is calling while riding. It does a great job with the calling, but the texting feature isn't all that great. Wasn't able to get the music functions to work but I don't really need them. The monitoring itself is great and I keep it on all the time (except in the showers/water obviously). Helpful tip: your wrist expands and contracts throughout the day, if you have it really tight around you, it'll be tighter when your wrist expands, and therefore cause skin irritations! I like to keep it 1 notch from being snug, and I'll loosen it when my wrist expands and it becomes snug. Now that I do this, I no longer have any problems with skin irritations, and the HR monitor still works properly.

I have had this for 5 weeks now and use it for Xfit, and all my workouts. It does have issues sometimes keeping heart rate during intense sweating exercises. Gps feature is great, kills battery, but I always charge 1day wk.

it is an excellent fitness watch. It is a watch that keeps track of my steps, calories, quality of sleep, summary of my exercise, and an alarm clock. It also allows you to connect with friends for exercise and step challenges.

Long lasting battery life and general ease of use are the highlights. I'm not a runner, but I workout 4-6 days a week doing various HIIT, tabata, and strength training workouts. The real time stats really push me to work harder. Lastly the integration with the phone was a surprise. I haven't set up the music controls just yet, but the ability to read incoming texts was a pleasant surprise. If you are a runner and looking to learn about the GPS, I'm sorry I can't give any perspective, but if you workout regularly and are a looking for a stylish easy to use fitness watch, then you can't go wrong here.

I love the Fitbit Surge. I continuously ware it. I love that I can look at the surge and get all the information I need about my run or workout. I use everything the surge has to offer. Only downside is if you have your alarm, text messages/phone notification & the heart rate monitor on all the time, the battery dies a lot faster. It does not last the 5 to 7 days they mention. It is more like 3 to 4 days. I do clean it regularly to avoid any irritation.

I really like this watch however only messages syncs with the Samsung Note; not the music which I would love to have working. Also for about the last month it doesn't hold a charge more than a day, it used to go 3 days but now only one. I'm waiting a reply from Fitbit about the charging but after checking it out online seems others are having a similar problem.

I love this fitness watch because of the Heart rate monitoring feature. I enjoy this watch because it has a 5ATM rating. I know it says don't use it in water but I spent two weeks on vacation swimming with this watch both in the pool and ocean and all is well with the watch. It's easy to use and the FitBit app is one of the best out there. I wanted any everyday watch that would monitor my daily activity this watch does this plus so much more.

This is a great tracker. Just by knowing my daily activity I'm incouraged to do more to improve. I really enjoy the heart rate monitor because it gives an indication of when I need to push just a little bit more.

As always Fitbit puts their best foot forward with a great addition to their fitness lineup. Others say the heart rate monitor is less than to be desired. Wrong. Test after test I compared to a polar chest strap and the vitals machine at my doctors office. Even my doctor was impressed with the accuracy. The surge is not just a watch, its a way of life. Pro's - Does it all, battery life, style. Cons - slightly larger than I'd like.

My wife uses the unit and it works like a charm. The HR monitoring works great for her, which might be due to the fact that she has a very light skin tone. GPS is accurate and overall the watch looks great.

It has been a great product, having competitions with friends as well as being able to have my exercises tracked really puts things in perspective, unfortunately, I might have to sell mine due to the fact that I may be allergic to the strap. Can't knock the company for me having an allergy, but at last let us change out the straps.

Overall. I like the Surge. I have a few hang ups, such as it doesn't actually have a stop watch. It has a watch in the running mode, but not a separate stop watch feature. The face of the watch is touchy, not always on the face I left it on. Like the sleep feature and the calories eaten feature. Seems to need to be charged more often than advertised. Overall. does what it says it does, but not sure it is worth the price.

I bought this watch for my dad and he loves it. The notification feature is nice because it vibrates whenever he gets a call or text, and you are able to read the messages. The backlight is a little dim but everything is still readable on the watch. I wish there were more options for the clock face, but in the app you can at least personalize the types of exercise you want to show up in the watch. The heart rate feature is the best thing about it, paired with the app you can collect some consistent data while you're exercising and just going about your day.

Been wearing it non stop for 2 weeks now. I love it, it charges very quickly and keeps me in touch with my text messages when away from my phone. I really like the sleep monitoring. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is a bit bulky and large. I would like it to be slimmer and a bit more fashionable.

I love my Fitbit! It shows the time, steps, heart rate and more. I like that you can also see who texts you. The only drawback would be that it is "bulky" and gets stuck when taking off my coat.

The Surge may not look like much out of the box, the app and FitBits accompanying website reall round out this watch well. It's not always accurate during exercise (as the watch tends to slide when you start sweating), once you find the right place and tightness for your arm it does pretty well. The sleep tracking is also a great feature and seems to be pretty accurate. Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase.
