Overall good product. Battery lasts about 5 days while taking it off at night and wearing it all day. Great way to track exercise. While on a computer or smart phone, keeping track of activities is easy.

Bought this for my husband's birthday. Wanted to buy him him a tracker that can double up as a watch. He loves his surge! The only bad thing I would say is that it does irritate his wrist after a few days of wearing it. You have to wear the watch snug for the heart rate sensor to work properly. Since he wears the surge 24/7, it does cause some irritation.

The only downside sides I've experienced so far are the inaccurate heart rate monitor and music control feature. Wrist HR monitors don't have a good history on any device so no surprise there. As for the music control I have not been able to get it to work. I'm guessing it has to do with having a wireless headset vs wired, but not sure yet. Aside from that it's great. Feels good on my wrist, not too bulky, GPS works very good, and touch screen works well also.

The surge is a good product, if you want to use it for walking, running, ellipticals, treadmills and such. Unfortunately I was hoping to use it to track my heart rate during Crossfit workouts, and the accuracy is not nearly good enough for that. So I will most likely return it, for that reason alone.

Great product. It will keep your fitness program going and help motivate you to do more walking or running. I would recommend this device to anyone. It's interesting to see how many steps I take in a day.

Love the Fitbit Surge. Excellent at traking multiple forms of exercise. Love the feature where I get notifications of text messages and phone calls. My only complaint is it sometimes looses my heart rate tracking, but mostly it keeps good track. I would highly recommend this product.

I use the Fitbit Surge everyday. Easy to use. The app is user friendly as well. As a fitness tracker and heart/pulse-rate monitor it is sufficient. There are moments during long exercise sessions when the monitor stops tracking my intensity (heart rate) for a minute. Otherwise, I do enjoy the convenience of not strapping a heart rate monitor and having to run with my watch next to it in order to see my intensity level. The price tag is pretty hefty.

I bought this to replace my Fitbit Force after the recall. Having it helps to motivate me to stay more active during the day. I've found that for me, the HRM is generally pretty close when compared with my Garmin Forerunner with HRM chest strap. It is nice to not have to wear a bunch of gadgets to keep track of everything and Fitbit portal is pretty good.

I wear this watch almost 24/7. It is comfortable to wear. I like the sleep monitoring feature. I do not like the fact that each fitbit requires a different charger. I could not re-use my charger from my old fitbit charge HR.

Love this fitbit. Knowing my strengths and weaknesses has provided me with tremendous motivation to be better. Being able to compete by sharing data with family members and co-workers is energizing. The only negative I have is its inability to hold a charge for more than a day. It is advertised as holding a charge for several days. It can be inconvenient.

I love my Surge, except that I have to take it off when I shower and swim. Wish I would have read the reviews because showering is an every day thing.
