Good functionality for the price. GPS is great for running

I have used a few fitness watches but this is the first one to have all the bells and whistles. It is by far much better than the many others. The only thing that does not seem to work correctly yet is the importing of workouts to mapmyrun but other than that you really don't need that since it will do the same thing in its own software.

Kudos to the interface. Not only do I get 24 hour heart rate monitoring but I also get round the clock calorie burn. The watch fits nicely and the downloadable app interfaces very well.

The heart rate is great. Does everything I want it to do.

I was very disappointed with this. I have the fitbit one but was excited about getting the new device with the new Heart Rate and tracking features. The instructions say for it to track heart rate accurately, it needs to be a little above the wrist, and it also says not to put tight. However, without tightening the watch, it keeps sliding down my arm, especially when exercising. It also took steps off - where the steps went backward. I returned the product after just one day and am sticking with the fitbit one.

Out of the box the Surge hit my step count exactly and delivered accurate heart rate within 5 beats per minute. The sleep data is very useful and I'm losing weight. I practice the Weight Watchers lifestyle and the Fitbit app interfaces with the WW app delivering "fit points" I can eat if I want to. My results .... 22lbs lost in 5 weeks and body fat went from 26% to 19%. I still have 20lbs to go and thanks to my Surge I know for certain I am progressing nicely! Thank you Fitbit!

works well out of the box. a small challenge to eliminate my previous Fitbit Charge from the system so the new Surge could be added. Large readout helps. Lots of capability

Looks great, it's a fancy gadget, but I wouldn't reccomend it to people who have their routine together because this really is just an accessory that gives u some motivation to workout, I paid 319 with the protection plan, I kinda regret it but I still think it's really cool and useful. I would reccomend trying it out.

The watch was great for counting steps and the basic activities. It was not so comfortable and fit odd on my wrist. It is great for what it does but you need to try it on first.

Everything is fairly easy to use and the watch functions well. The only real issue I've run into is the HR Monitor will stop responding for short periods during certain exercises.
