love the gps, the dashboard, the log, floors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only issue is getting the thing to sync. Very uneven. Usually just plug in the charger, and that does it. The help menu is vague and doesn't show screen shots of where to find the actual sites to get help. New user, not big techie, but learning about new features all the time. Also, didn't try it on, b/c I heard they had changed the sizing, but the small is still too small - esp. if you wear it properly to get a good heart rate.. up your wrist...

Good but can do better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the new Fitbit surge device overall. I like how it looks and feels on my wrist. It does have some little things that are annoying. I hate the fact that it does NOT send any low battery notifications to my phone so it ended up dying on a few occasions. Also, the screen does NOT revert back to the clock. Hope these things will be solved with the firmware update soon.

Good but battery dies fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a Mother's Day gift. I love it! It tracks your heart rate, distance, Steps, water intake, calulates sleep, flights of stairs, and allows you to see texts messages and incoming calls. The only downfall I see with the surge is the battery does die fast. I have to charge it at least 2xs a week but at least it charges pretty fast.

My wife loves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for my wife - did a lot of research and the pulse and gps work great so far - kind of short battery life when using the gps and a "little" pricey but a head above the other fitbits and the polar watch she used to have

Must be a runner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am more into weight training but also do quite a bit of cardiovascular exercise, mainly stepmills, stairsteppers and elliptical machines. I loved my Fitbit One and tried this new top of the line model Surge. Does most things well, but the GPS and music control features are wasted on a gym rat like myself. If you are an outdoor runner, get this. If not, one of the lower end models will do nicely.

A great all in one fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that I can use it as a watch and a fitness tracker. It tracks everything.: steps, exercise, sleep, calories. The Fitbit app even lets you track food and weight.

Love!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great bang for your buck. Only con is if you use the GPS regularly the battery drains quite only. I have to charge about every 2-3 days depending on my activities.

Perfect tracker for all exercises and health
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a terrific device. Way more of a tracking device then I really needed but would be great for someone who exercises a lot. A little large for smaller wrists.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying my fitbit surge. Great for using on a workout or a walk. Love the heart rate monitor. It is a little bulky but that is to be expected with the built in heart rate monitor. Would highly recommend!

works as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works as advertised. Would be better if it were a bit smaller/lighter of course. Not a fan of the preset heart rate zones by age. not against lying about my age (to get the zones closer to reality) ;) but really? Is this a liability issue FitBit?, or am I just not finding the right setting screen? Still looking for a way to set personalized zones, but no luck.

Great Fitness Tool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am all about heart rate monitoring while I am exercising. I first purchased the FITBIT Charge HR but it stopped working correctly after a couple of weeks. I invested the extra money and purchased the FitBit Surge. It was well worth the extra money because it has so many more features. It is a little bulky because I have very small wrists but I quickly got use to it. Love Everything About It. Would highly recommend the Surge to anyone that is interested in fitness monitoring.

Great Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great way to stay accountable. The step feature is great because it is a reminder to be active, when you may not be too active throughout the day. Also GPS runs are great on this device!

Pretty awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch allows me to monitor my heart beats per minute, steps, sleep quality etc. In addition, you're able to see any text alerts and phone calls received when synced with your mobile device. Only downside is if you're very active, you'll have to frequently charge your Fitbit

I own two fitbits, but need to upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a die-hard fitbit believer. I own a small one for office settings and this one for runs. This unit doesn't disappoint, but if you are finding that your training demands more heart rate monitoring and audible beeps for pace, etc., I would go with the Garmin Forunner. I may pass this Fitbit on to my brother as I need something more robust for marathon training. For the regular fitness enthusiast, this unit is bulky but fantastic.

Like it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My biggest issue with this is that the phone app uses a lot of battery. Where I used to be able to go about 3 days before charging phone, with the app it will go completely dead from a full charge in less than a day. I am impressed with the amount of foods and info in the app. If you put the time into entering all the info, it's a great device.

Great product for detailed tracking of activity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit works great for detailed tracking of all your activity. The app to use with your Smartphone is a nice feature that breaks down the data even more. I like the sleep pattern information and find it useful. You have to keep track of your caloric intake if you want to use that feature, but it does help manage it in one spot as opposed to logs, other software etc. The goal achievement notification takes some getting used to since the Fitbit vibrates when a goal is accomplished. This model has everything on it; the Surge HR is good if you are not looking to track every aspect of your lifestyle as well as receive IM notifications from your friends and family.

Best Fitbit ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use easy to see! I love the GPS system variety of faces only thing was I was on a cruise so the time zones got crossed and so did my Fitbit - I lost some hours but I fixed it quickly

Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to own the UP band and due to several problems I stopped using it. This one so far is great. I echo the other reviews regarding size, if in doubt, order the large version. Mine is on the 3rd hole and it feels a bit tight but if I put it on the second hole the band restraint will not reach. Highly recommend this product.
