Customers are saying
Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

I love it. It motivates you to exercise more.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is easy to set up. Just drop it in your pocket and take off. Not only does it count your steps and miles and also your calories. It's great to be able to hook it into the pc and then you get weekly totals in your email. It motivates you to exercise even more and you feel good doing it. Great gift to give someone. They won't believe how many steps they really take in just one day.

Great Fitness Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Fitbit One, and my husband wanted a Fitbit for Christmas. However, he didn't really want the sleep part, so I bought him the Zip, and he loves it! He says it keeps him motivated to move as much as he can to meet his goals of steps and distance. He now finds himself taking short breaks at work to walk laps. He loves the smiley faces for being an overachiever.

Got me off the couch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this fitbit because I have 20+ pounds to lose, and I sit at my job all day, and then when I get home I'm not motivated to do much except sit some more. I had my doubts this would work, but I bought it anyway. Well, it's super easy to set up, which is a huge plus for me, and super easy to wear. On the days I wear it, it's like a mini-contest with myself to get my 10,000 steps a day in. And surprise, it's working to get me off the couch! I take walks, I go upstairs, I move around during the commercials, all to get my extra steps in. I'm glad I bought this little gadget! Also, I've dropped it on the hard floor about 5 times so far, and it hasn't broken yet, so it can take a beating.

Excellent for tracking step activity...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Fitbit for several years and was in need of a replacement for an older one. This tracker goes in your pocket and tracks every step you make. It syncs to my Ipad and uploads to Fitbit all of my activity with no problems. Easy and simple to use.

My little Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had resisted buying a fitness tracker for a while only because they seemed so pricey. I ended up buying the Fitbit Zip because of the price and the good reviews and couldn't be happier. For one, I do not like wearing watches and the idea of wearing an ugly fitness tracker on my wrist was very unappealing. My little Fitbit Zip clips inside my bra, usually, and is hidden from site. Although it doesn't have all the features of its more expensive siblings, it works perfect for what I need (tracking steps, activity, food and water intake). I had no problems setting it up with my Samsung Galaxy S4 and mainly use the Fitbit app on my phone (vs. the dashboard on my computer). However, when I want to view my activity on the computer, the dongle that is included synchs with no problems. A great buy!

Great gadget for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife uses the fitbit flex and decided to get this little unit for her sister. Her sister absolutely loves it. It is easy to carry and is not bulky. And it does everything that a person could want as far as tracking your way to a healthier lifestyle. This unit coupled with the fitbit app is really all you need to get in shape fast.

Fitbit Zip Activity Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most inexpensive Fitbit tracker and also my favorite. Unlike one of the bracelets, it has a screen, so I can see the number of steps I've taken any time of day. I don't have to sync it to see. I slip it in my pocket in the morning and forget about it until night when I sync it with my phone so I can keep track of my overall exercise.

Easy and great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Zip is easy and quick to use. I like it better than the wrist tracker, only because I find the wrist tracker to pop open easier as I'm doing chores around the house. The easy upload is wonderful and provides a nice overall look back for progress status. I also love that you can challenge & encourage friends to step up everyone's game!

The Zip Wins over the One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a Fitbit One as a gift. It worked well and I would recommend it - but it had to be charged from time to time. The USB charging cord that it came with was specifically designed for the One - nothing else works. It was a nuisance because it either wasn't with me when I needed to charge it or I had to look for it. Finally it was misplaced altogether so I needed a new one. Stores that sell the Fitbit don't sell the charging cord so you have to order it online. The cost: $20. The Zip uses a 3 volt CR 2032 battery that can be found anywhere. So far it has lasted for two months. The Zip doesn't count stairs like the One, but I don't find that to be a limitation. I prefer the extended battery life of the Zip and knowing that I can easily find a replacement battery whereever I am. Also, the Zip is less expensive than the One. $50 less. That buys a lot of batteries.

The Fitbit is really great for tracking movement.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my Fitbit daily to keep track of my walking. It is small and I slide it into my pocket and start walking. I leave it in my pocket for the rest of the day and at the end of the day I check the total results of my daily movement on my iPad.

What I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not an athlete, I just wanted something to simply count my steps, and maybe calories, daily. The Fitbit does this. I like being able to look at the Fitbit website, and compare results on the dashboard; its interesting. The clip is tight, so I don't have to worry about losing it. I have had a few problems with it. Some days it just keeps counting, even if I'm not moving; it just starts going at midnight so I'm up in the thousands of steps before I even get out of bed. I just take the battery out and it resets, but if you are really serious about managing your steps you should consider this. Overall, I'm happy with it, and do recommend the Fitbit for a casual user like myself.

Love Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this product as a gift for my mom. She loves it and found it easy to learn how to use. Very straight forward. For the Fitbit Zip, the battery is not rechargeable so you don't have to worry about charging it daily, but will need to replace the battery in a several months. Step count is very accurate.

great step tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a fit bit zip and I bought this one for my husband when is old manual pedometer bit the dust. It is much smaller and easier for him to use than the old one. My only complaint is the flaw on the last row of numbers to the right, and that only shows up when the step count is over 10,000. Overall great product!

Great Activity Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great activity tracker! It works really well with the app on my iPhone and it tracks very accurately. I love that I can challenge my friends within the app and we can see who is winning or losing. This tracker is also very inconspicuous, you don't see it while you are wearing it.

Very good, Wrong battery indicator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is excellent, the only downside I have noticed so far is that the battery life indicator doesn't seem to be very accurate, several times already the battery indicator has told me battery was almost depleted just to show "full" status the next day, this is perhaps why so many people here have reported low life battery issues, yesterday I even got a low battery level e-mail, but today it's showing full again? not sure if it is reporting an erroneous full status or the other way around actually, time will tell. All other aspects of the device work as expected, it is very accurate when it comes to counting steps, it tells you steps, distance, calories and the time it is. it doesn't look cheaply made and even the package gives it a premium feel when you first open it, and it comes with a cover which is also the belt clip at the same time. it is also very small in size, so I would suggest putting it on your pocket, even though it has a clip it could be easily lost.

lovin my zip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is small and fits securely on the waistband of my pants. The app is so easy to navigate. I enjoy getting notifications when I earn badges or meet my step goals. You can log food and water intake and it will let you know how many calories you can consume to maintain current weight.

Good step recording
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this better than the wrist option. I had trouble with the charging of the battery and then the unit just quit on me. The zip has been reliable so far and seems to be giving accurate step information.

First time FitBit user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a fun little gadget - it does not count EVERY step exactly, but it is close enough to give you an idea how many steps a day you do. It's small enough that you forget you have it on. Silicone clip is great to attach FitBit it to your clothes, or without the clip just put it in your pocket. It will not connect to my Android phone, but I still sync my information to my laptop, which is really easy and once you set it up, works pretty well. Just so you know, it DOES NOT work very well for riding a bicycle. Did not seem to count "steps" on a bike very well. Overall though, I recommend this product.
