Perfect and as advertised with a great price. Love it. Diagnosed my cars issues and pointed me to the information needed for me to save money to repair it.

I bought this because I do most of the work on my car myself and had an idea of what my check engine light was for, this product confirmed my assumption of a bad co2 sensor, it even told me the specific sensor that was bad.

Great idea, can't wait to try it. I always take my car in different mechanics and they always tell me a bunch of different things and then I go to a family member that knows a lot about cars and he's always right I want to try this on him.lol

Good for Analysis and Canceling Check Engine Light

FIXD arrived in a timely manner, was easy to install in the car and the app was easy to install on the phone. Be sure to write down the serial number before installing it. It immediately identified the issue in my car (same thing mechanic told me) and gave me some possible options to fix it. The cheapest was replacing the gas cap, so I did, but I don't believe it's helped. The repair would be 1/3 of what an older car is worth, so I won't do it, but FIXD allows me to cancel the check engine light when I get tired of seeing it and it stays off for a while. Not a cheap as electrical tape over the light, but I can monitor and make sure it isn't a new problem. Well worth the money.

I’m not someone who is super knowledgeable about cars, so this purchase put my mind at ease after a regrettable car purchase. It has a real simple set up and the readings are relatively easy to understand. As much as this product comes in handy, I would have put a lot more thought into it beforehand if I had realized I was going to be stuck paying another 70 dollars on top of it for the app it communicates the information to. Definitely felt knowingly deceptive from a marketing standpoint. I hate hidden fees. I’d much rather have the information presented black and white so I can have a fair chance at making a truly informed decision. Even if I had general knowledge prior to the purchase of fees with the app, 70 dollars is significant information in my opinion.

I would give it 5 stars but like everything else now u need a premium subscription to get the best of a product which is not worth the value since u can google the codes for make and model elsewhere if you have the time

I love this diagnostic tool, but be aware, in order to take advantage of most of the features, you will need to get a membership. I opted in for the yearly subscription, which is $59.99, whereas the monthly subscription is $8.99. So while the price of the device itself might be catching, you have to pay additional fees to actually use it...

I've read the AD for this product twice and didn't find any clue that it has a premium feature. I thought that I was paying $65 for the whole product. Or you make de hardware for free/cheaper or you make the software for free. Pay for the hardware and then for the the software doesn't look fair. And please put on the AD that there's a premium feature on the app

This is an exceptional diagnostic tool for anyone. It'll clear the engine light and allow the consumer to have a good understanding of the cause and if it's an emergency repair or it can wait. A consumer will get 7 days free and then its 69.00 for six months. That tid-bit of info should be added in the description.

It's not as good my mechanic's $5,000 machine but it is easy to use and gave a clean bill of health just like his machine did...for a whole lot less money. Used it before a purchase of a used car and it gave it a clean bill of health just like the more expensive unit.

Really helpful information. The fixd device gives quite a bit more than just a code, it gives you the full description of what the code means on your car. It also gives you the ability to clear the code which is really helpful if you're working on the problem yourself and want to see if the same error comes back. One thing that might not be well known to buyers - which is not a fault of fixd at all - is that many cars provide power to their OBDII port even when the car is turned off. Hence while it is tempting to leave the device on the port all the time, you can potentially drain your battery doing so.

A very handy tool to have. It lets you know not only the code that caused your check engine light to come on, but also tells you what the code means.
