The gift was the last one to my wife. But the first to be used. She made fresh chicken noodle soup immediately with all kinds of fresh vegetables cut through the dicer.

Best food processor. I really like how it dispenses into my bowls and not having to empty. You will need to check for remaining pieces that may get caught. I pickle cucumbers. It saves me a lot of time with slicing and chopping. Great for making salads. Time saver.

One of the best attachments for the this brand. It takes longer to decide buy this thing. We love russian salad. So sometimes to cut boiled vegetables with hard boiled egg getting annoyed. And once I order this with delivery, delivery guy shocked me other story, he came on BMW M5 competition. Because it was food related stuff, delivery been hand to hand. And finally attached and turned on, you should see my eyes, when machine has done in a 1 minute to cut whole salad for serving 10 people. One of the valued purchase.

Overall I think the $199 is a bit pricey, but day one it diced potatoes quickly (had to slice them in half) and only one potato out of 20 got jammed. Fresh hash is amazing along with diced veggies with little effort absorbed seasoning really well and of course everything cooked faster. The dicer is really sharp when cleaning, cut my finger, but overall this unit is the easiest Processor I've ever cleaned as everything comes apart. Well designed...

This is absolutely fantastic. The dicing feature works super fast! We can make salsa dip in 5 minutes. If you are looking at this product, just go ahead and pull the trigger. You will not regret it!! The shipping on this was delayed. I ordered from here so that it would deliver on Saturday. It didn't deliver until Tuesday. I am hold BB responsible for the shipping delay, but Kitchenaid hit it out of the park with this attachment.

This processor is awesome. It attaches easily and works great. The feed is smaller than my freestanding processor. I have to cut larger potatoes in half but smaller ones fit fine.
The only thing I don't like about this is that it's a weight on the end of my mixer and so pushing the feed down puts enough weight on it to tip the mixer if you aren't careful. I hold it by the shoot so I don't accidentally react and put my hand on the bottom, near the exit shoot, to catch it. It cuts potatoes like butter, you barely have to push on it. It's really nice.
It's super easy to clean up and I love the holder for all of the blades.
This is the first attachment I've purchased and I don't regret it. Just the cube cut is worth it. I just don't like that there isn't some kind of stabilizing bar with it. It will probably be the last attachment I buy just because of the stability issue but, if I was only going to choose one, this would have been it.

It slices, it dices, chops, shreds, and puree's. Just simply attach it to your Kitchenaid mixer and let the mixer do the work! I have other things I'd rather do than stand and chop up vegetables! Plus you don't have multiple small appliances cluttering up your counters or taking up prime cabinet space!

This is one of those gadgets you don’t use everyday.. but when you do need it, you’re glad you have it.
I ended up getting this after turning in a ton of Best Buy rewards from a big purchase.. and I’m happy I did. Mostly we used it for shredding cheese.. we stopped buying that prestressed junk that’s coated with something. The cheese blocks freshly shredded have so much more flavor than the prestressed at the store. I know they put something on it so the cheese doesn’t clump up.. but it also kills the flavor.
We also use it for all kinds of veggies as well.. it will def. help to a healthier eating style.
I would recommend.. esp if you can get it on sale

I’ve only used this to dice onions so far, and it’s very fast and great quality. I use this bc I’m not quick/super skilled at dicing. I use it when I need more than 1 onion due to the level effort it takes to clean out all the crevices of the blade. It comes w a push type cleaner but imo would be better to clean with a brush stick or similar tool. I have to spend hours reaching in between the blades pulling onion remnants out.

We wanted a food processor that would dice as well as chop and shred. This one does the trick. It can handle carrots to shred but the feeder tube for them is a bit small. It’s not good for hard vegetables like raw sweet potatoes. Overall we’re well pleased with it.

This is by far the best attachment I have used for my KitchenAid Mixer.
The dicing feature is wonderful and it really does its work very well.
The feed could be small for certain things but nothing that you can't work out by putting smaller veggies or cut them in half before feeding them to the slicer.

We had been using a small Oster food processor for many items. When we saw this attachment for our KitchenAid device, we knew we had just saved some counter space. We got this home and gave it a test on several items. It has worked great! Thrilled with this purchase and the easy connection and clean up. So happy to have this attachment.

I expected a better outcome, especially when using the grater. FYI, your cheese has to be practically frozen to get grated in a more consistent fashion. You may notice the machine leaves “chunks” behind in the final grated product. Dicing blade works well, but you will have to resort to hand chopping if you require larger sizes. Either way, I noticed a lot of “left over” product in between the blades and pressure device after use, which creates a waste of whatever it is you’re trying to grate/slice/dice. Not recommended for the price.

Only used a couple of the blades but the dicer works great! Just drop the onions or peppers in and it dices them; I didn't even need to use the plunger to push them down. I only gave four stars because the mixer screw that locks the attachments in, seems to vibrate loose. It came so loose that entire attachment moved out of the locking slot and started spinning around...hikes! So I now ever few minutes I make sure it's good and tight.

This food processor makes me so happy! I sold my old one (you can't mix and crush stuff in this one, but I mostly used my old one for shredding anyway). I bought this at the same time that I bought my new artisan mini kitchenaid mixer and they work great together. Being the beginning of the year we are eating more salads and veggies and doing more home cooking, so it came at a great time. I have been food prepping salads with this each week. Shredding carrots, slicing cucumbers, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions. My very favorite part though is the cube function. I have been using my shredded bell peppers and onions with cubed potatoes to make potatoes o'brien on the weekends. This has made things so easy when doing food prep with a lot of veggies. I am so happy I bought it!
