I love the idea you seal the bottom of the bag and cut it in the same area then then filled go to the top bar. Wish I could have afford the next model up but yes I am very happy with this one and the price is good.I never have done the heat a meal in water but will try it some day. It is a quite a few steps nicer than my old one which i threw away not knowing I could have replaced the sealer (Don't know the name of that part) so glad I did throw it out in a way...

This is so easy to use, very little clean up. The food stays amazingly fresh.

So far, this is meeting my expectations and then some: I bought the accessories to vac-seal glass canning jars, the ziplock bags, and plastic containers. They all work. I used the glass jars in my sous-vide to avoid heating plastic with food in it - This makes me very happy. I also vac-seal food in jars, if I want to extend the shelf life extra days.

Food saver preservation system is easy to use and great to have to keep food longer in freezer.

This vacuum sealer is the perfect size and so easy to use. I leave it on the counter because I use it almost daily.

I have owned a foodsaver for many years. I love it so much I decided to put my old one in the camper. So I headed to Best Buy to purchase a new one. I’m sure glad I did. The model I purchased is so much nicer than my old one. It’s easier to use and clean up. If you want to save money go to Best Buy and purchase a FoodSaver. They have great prices on top of the line products. My favorite feature on the new one is the ability to seal zipper bags for items I use a lot like herbs.

Works great. Doesn't take up too much space. Love the extra features compared to the basic food saver.

If you're anything like me, then you'll understand how important it is to have fresh ingredients to cook with. I use my Foodsaver to keep meats that I buy in bulk from Costco frozen and fresher for longer than say, plastic wrap. I also use it for fruits like strawberries and I use the Foodsaver bags to store them in so that it's easily resealable every time I take out a bag of strawberries to make a smoothie! LOVE IT!

I purchased this as a Deal of the Day for $89 and after a bit of a learning curve in operation, compared to my previous sealer, I have no complaints. It works as advertised and Food Saver is still among my top choice when it comes to a residential style vacuum sealer. I would definitely recommend this product, if you are looking to seal your foods for a longer lasting freshness or vacuum and seal to freeze.

I love this machine! I’m so glad we opted for this machine. We had done a lot of research. It’s super easy to use. The only thing I don’t like is that the bag has nothing to sit on when your are sealing. I just put a book under it.

It’s easy to use and vacuum works all the time, so food stays fresh longer.

This device is well worth it’s price. If you buy in bulk and always see more in the trash due to expiration, this will save $$ beyond the initial cost. Awesome

I am a huge fan of FoodSaver after my grandma gave me one several years ago. It finally quit sealing so I had to purchase another. I went to Best Buy to get about the same one, but saw this one instead, an upgrade to the one I had previously. I bought it and I use it all the time!

We always wanted one of these and visited our local store to find it discounted, but out of stock. Our sales person ordered the unit online for us with a home delivery and honored the discounted store price! We were thrilled. The unit works as promised.. no more freezer burn!

We caught this on a year end clearance at BB; what a value! We use this for splitting meat packages for later use and for "heat and eat" meals. Wife loves it! All kinds of uses and the bags are cheap, so get one; great value.

I have always enjoyed my Foodsaver but after my last one died it was a few years before deciding to purchase this one. Glad I did. The improvements are significant and the ease of making bags from the rolls is genius. Great buy and well worth the price.

This is our third or fourth sealer and it has shown to be the best. This Real easy to use once you go through the process couple of times. The moisture marinade settings are great and solved some issues I had with earlier models.

Everything works but it is a little bit difficult to hold bag and seal it at same time. Otherwise, its such a wonderful improvement overvold model
