Bought food saver and used to vacuum seal 6 bags of meat and it worked fine. Went to use 3 days later and unit would not work. Motor ran, but it did not suck air out of bag. Tried a couple of different bags but same fail each time. Seal on unit looks find, but not working. Returned to Best Buy for exchange. New unit works. Will report back in 3 months if still working and will add star. Maybe I just got the 1 lemon out of 1000.

Having owned several vacuum sealers in the past, I have had the best luck with FoodSaver models. None will last forever but these do a good job. Meat frozen in a vacuum seal lasts much longer than what they say it does.

Works good, easy to use, keeps meat from getting freezer burnt.

THIS LITTLE THING IS AWESOME. I"VE HAD OTHER FOODSAVERS BUT THIS ONE IS COMPACT AND TO ME THE BEST. I LOVE THE ACCESSORY HOSE. I USE IT JUST AS MUCH AS THE REGULAR FUNCTION. THIS ONE DOES NOT HAVE A CUTTER BUT TO ME THIS IS NOT A BIG DEAL. I'D RATHER THIS COMPACT ONE THAT I CUT MY OWN BAGS INSTEAD OF A LARGE CUMBERSOME ONE.

This is probably one of the best products I have bought from BEST BUY. It has helped me in my healthy eating journey by preserving foods that normally expire quickly. I have use it on all types of meals to learn what works and in what type of container works for certain foods. It is great. It is a must buy.

FoodSaver FM2000 Vacuum Sealing System is my first vacuum sealer. we loved it. we reseal left over foods, cookies, potato chips, pop corn, sun flower seeds,..,etc. which means less waste therefore save land fill/environment. Highly recommended to friends and some one shopping for one.

Keeps my frozen food tasting more fresh for much longer. Helps prevent freezer burn very well. My only complaint is that you can't control how long the suction lasts and sometimes it doesn't get all of the air out before it seals.

Should have more different sizes of vacuum bags to try it out for the project

I bought this to replace an old ziploc hand pump vacuum sealer that I’d had for years. This one works better and is easy. Only issues I’ve had was it didn’t seem to seal fully on2 of the bags but I think it was because they were wet on the outside.

Was a good gift for my wife at Christmas time and a great buy for me

Pair this with a sous vide machine and dinners will change overnight! I prep out my meals on Sunday, come home throw them in the sous vide and dinner is ready! I love keeping food fresh, and marinating with vacuum. It has made me look like a culinary genius! Great product

I'm so happy we having have this product to storage extra food & freeze save things when they are on sale. Now I can buy extra frozen items when they are on sale! This product allows us to save money of food before it can go to waste. I would highly recommended this!
