Most of the time it works great unless I get in a hurry...while trying to seal a bag that I cut, sometimes I don't hold the button long enough or sometimes too long so it flashes and I have to start again. It's an annoyance more than anything; it seals well. Also, it the bag is not inserted perfectly, the machine won't start sucking...if there is a bend or curled wrong, start again...again an annoyance. Overall a great "sucker". Foods last much longer in the freezer.

Feeding the plastic in for the sensor can be a problem - sensor doesn't "sense" it sometimes. Seals extremely well, better than the manual models.
