    This Game Is Amazing!

I have loved this game from the second i got to drive the Audi right when i put the disc in. There is almost no reason not to delete some extra hard drive space for the extra content. Now for the review. Graphics: This game has the best graphics I've seen in any game.(And i play all the big ones) Each car has its own interior that matches the real life one. The cars look so beautiful on the outside that you just cant help going into photo mode and taking a few pictures. Customization: Forza Motorsport has always had amazing customization and this one keeps it coming. You can put 500+ decals on every part of the car and the paint choices cover every color out there. You can upgrade your car how you choose with many different parts to choose from. The only thing they are missing is a program to design your own decals from scratch. Difficulty: The Difficulty is very much how you choose to make it. You can change how challenging the opponents are, If your car automatically slows down during turns, manual and automatic transmission, and more. The opponents also wont just move over for you, they will stay in front of you and some even bump you. Fun: This game is really fun whether you like racing games or not. The multiplayer will drag you in and is very competitive sometimes. The game has enough races so that you wont get bored, and enough for completionists to feel satisfied after finishing. The achievements are reasonable and some are fun to try and get. This game was the best racing game I've ever played. 5/5 Easily (I have added a few pictures to show you the beauty of this game)

    Solid Racing Simulator

I have no played Forza 3 for about 6 hours time. This is by far a great upgrade from the previous version of the game. First the graphics are a real step up from Forza 2. You can really see detail in the roadway, stands, environments, and now there is also a fairly well done in car view that you can drive from. The car customization continues to be a major plus for this game as they have added a couple more tweaks that you can do to the cars as well as a lot more to the livery editor. Also they have added a storefront where you can buy cars, decals, and car designs. This is great since now you can specifically buy a car design for a car rather than just trying to find a car that has a particular design on it that you like. Also, for people that are creating great designs you can be addes as a favorite by buyers and sell any of your designs over and over again. There is also a sort option that lets you sort out the most downloaded, top rated, and newest. But as I said if you are not great with the editor you can buy a design for a car that you have rather than buying an entire car like Forza 2. There is also a great option now to quick upgrade your car. So if you have a D class car but want it to be a top of the line C class car you go to quick upgrade and it will suggest the best upgrades for the class that you want your car to fit into. If you feel the computer is asking you to spend too much of your credits you can take certain upgrades off the list that you don't want. I have yet to try the online portion of the game so I won't comment on that. The season play though is very well done. It appears that there are 7 seasons that you will progress through and each time it will get longer and harder to beat. In between the championships for those seasons you get to pick which races you want to complete based on your cars. So if you are in an Audi R8 they will offer you certain races, but if you go into your garage and change to a Porsche 911 they will offer you different races to choose. The only downside to this is it seems that once you choose to do a type of race you have to complete it and may not back out of that series until it’s complete. The customization of the difficulty of the game continues to be very in depth and it can be changed so that the more serious player can be challenged but the new to racing sims player can jump right in and not be scared off by never to much of a challenge. The greatest addition to this is that there is now a rewind feature added to the game. So if you are playing the game to optimize your credits by having the damage on full and you make a mistake at the end of the race you can rewind a few seconds before your mistake so you can attempt that turn again. This will add penalty time to your laps though for using the rewind feature. The one downfall is that this is probably the biggest change they made to your ability to tune the difficulty. There is only one real big negative for this game that I can see as of right now. And that is it comes with a second disk that you can download to your HD to get all the cars and tracks. Also all new versions of the game come with a free download card of more tracks and more cars. Which is all fine, but the main problem is the main game runs very slow if it's not installed to the HD. You will actually sit for close to a minute in loading screens. For those of you that don't have a HD for your Xbox this will be a problem as installing all the items for this game is close to 10 gbs. I own the Elite so this is not a problem, but just thought people should know before purchasing that they may want to purchase a HD along with this game if they don't have one. Despite this little nit pick as it's not a major problem I would rate the game a 5 out of 5 and a must buy for anyone looking to get into racing simulations or for those that are diehard racing sim fans.

Game is so good I bought the XBOX 360 to play it!!

I've been a PS2 & 3 owner & fan of Gran Turismo. But the maker of GT takes TOO long to make games! Tired of waiting for GT5, I took the leap & got a XBOX 360, wheel and Forza 3. The game is A+. You have to get the wheel & pedals. This game is for folks who love sportscar racing & the art of driving well. The Difficult level is challenging. Making graphics is fun, if you have days to spare - takes alot of time. Or you can buy graphics online that people have made. The cars & tracks are good. I just want to have more of them. More European & USA tracks please. Brno, Spa, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, etc. More classic race cars from 70's, 80's & 90's Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, BMW etc. Online racing is fun, but too many guys who love to crash you. That's not fun to me. Anyway, get the game and enjoy driving.

I was originally a fan of the gran torismo racing games, and not to take away from them at all, especially GT3 but Forza motorsport is an all around Better racing game. The only area where they are equally matched is the driving mechanics itself. The customization on forza is really impressive and the online shops and auction house makes the game a step above the rest when it comes to enjoying car customization. Just think of it this way, you can buy a stock chevy cobalt and add decals, rims, and a body kit and then sell it in the auction for a profit. That is something you could never do with any other racing game. The overall graphics and detail is stunning i look forward to seeing the next forza because i know the graphics are sure to be suprizingly better even still. But if you enjoy racing games of any kind and especially simulation racing games forza is the right game for you. I believe that it is the best racing game available right now!

One of my favortie racing sims

First, a little background. I am far from an obsessed racing sim fan, I don't care too much for fine-tuning cars, and have never played a racing game using manual gear shift. Nonetheless, I like playing racing sims with assists turned on, just because sometimes I want more than the mindless fun of burnout-style arcade games (which I love). In all these expectations, forza3 delivers. But more importantly, it acts as a very good introduction to racing sims, with multiple customization levels to match your style of play, while also encouraging you to explore more. I started playing the game on easy, happily cruising the races till I got bored. After bumping up the difficulty a bit, things became interesting. I started quick upgrading my cars, and keeping an eye on the numbers. Finally, I turned off even more assists, started manually upgrading cars, creating vinyl groups... basically spending a lot of time not racing. The nice interface helps, of course :) If you're a fan of racing sims, you should have already bought it, stop reading my review. If you're even a bit bored of never leaving accelerator when racing, or are even a little bit curious about racing sims but are intimidated by daunting amount of customizations and the difficulty, buy this game. If, however, you are expecting a game that gives you "style points", or features rock/rap music as you drive, or is something you can pretty much master in a day, avoid this game. Some things I love: - professional looking UI (and background music) - driver and car leveling system - user contributed vinyl groups - single number tells you how good your car is (performance index) - photo mode - real cars Some things I'm not too crazy about: - slow loading times - huge jump from medium AI to difficult AI - tracks kind of look the same

I have played my share of racing video games, between Need for Speed and Gran Tourism when i had a playstation 2. This is definately one of the best racing games that i have ever played. The graphics are excellent and the online play is very fun. The level of competition is difficult and the ability to set the difficulty settings as well as the driver assists in Forza are excellent. Online play can be very fun or very intense. The ability to play with certain car levels and the different games that are available online are very fun and interesting to play once you know the rules and what the objectives are. Overall this is a great game!

    Best Racing Sim

I've been looking forward to this game coming out for a very long time now and now that it is finally here, it was definitely worth the wait. The graphics are impecable, the features numerous, and the realism is as close as could be to the real thing. From the moment I put the game in my 360, it has not come out yet, and will not come out for a very long time to come. There are honestly too many good things to mention them all on here but the things I think need some "honorable mention" would have to be the variety of cars (400+) which are all customizable, the different difficulty settings where in most games you have easy/medium/hard and that's it but in FM3 it has those 3 options but within them are subfunctions which you can turn on or off, depending on how difficult you'd like your racing experience to be, which I think is also good for those who are either new to racing sim's or video games in general. In the past I always tried to get my fiance to play FM2 or NFS and she would always say no because the few times she did play, she did absolutely horrible! Now whenever I start playing and try to work on leveling up, she wants to come play split screen since it has the suggested line (which FM2 had as well) but now FM3 also has the break assist, which for her is great because she can just keep her finger on the "gas" the whole time and just worry about steering. I definitely think anyone that picks up this game will not only be more than satisfied, but will not be able to put it down.

From the hands on experience Ive had with Forza 3, I can safely say that Turn 10 is listening to the fans. From the inclusion of drifting leaderboards to the new way user content is distributed, fans of the series can say that there words did not fall on silent ears. new features: -manual clutch button -cars can roll in collisions (or because of bad driving) -new game modes and a revamped career mode -in game "stores" for selling user generated content such as paint jobs and tuning -new graphics engine delivers 60 fps -in car cockpit view -rewind button and braking assist allow for new players to learn and enjoy the game -replay mode is vastly improved I am anxiously waiting the arrival of the full game. Its gonna be sweet. Check out the demo on xbox live for a trial.

I love the fact that you can do some engine swaps in most cars. and you can do some body kits on a few cars as well. There are also infinite possibilities with vehicle decals and vinyls. My biggest issue with this game is that there are too many supercars and not enough everyday cars and more "affordable" cars for most people. GT5 is going to have over 1000 cars, so that should be good! i just hope they have the same customizability as Forza 3. they also have a drift feature that adds up drift points while you race, but there are no drift races/battles. the drifting is pretty much just for fun.

Best Racing Game of the Year

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Everyone knows what the game is about, so I'll cut to the chase. This game allows you to race and customize over 400 cars. You can paint, apply vinyls and all sorts of other cool stuff to make your car look virtually any way you could possibly imagine. You can tune the game to suit your racing ability like enabling some features, but not others. Enabling some features allows you to earn extra money in the game without having to bend over backwards to win races. Drive crazy amounts of races on massive amounts of track. The only flaw I see is the handbrake, and either I don't know how to use it properly, or that's the way it is, but even at low speeds, even tapping the handbrake will send you spinning wildly out of control. Besides that, the game is virtually flawless with its pristine graphics and large achievement list to keep any gamer involved for hours.

    - This is racing at it's finest. There are a ton of assist that the player can turn on or off (replay, braking, drive lines, stability, etc.). So anyone from a newby to racing to the grizzled veteran of racing will love it. - They have kept the best tracks from Forza 2 (New York, Maple Valley, etc.) and added a ton more. There are some great new downhill tracks with crazy views. - This game is beautiful flat out. The cars and tracks are so well designed. - Gameplay is incredible with season play, race play, quick races, time trials, there are a ton of modes to enjoy. - And the famous car design, graphics are back and better then ever. You can customize every car in your garage, then share them on line or buy/sell/trade them to other drivers. - As perfect of a racing game as you can get. Play as an arcade or as a simulator.

    The Best Driving Game Yet.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Finally, a car game where the cars actually respond the way they would in real life. Realistic driving games in the past have always had a problem that the cars just dont respond quite how they really would. Forza 3 has solved this problem, and it makes it more fun. Every car handles differently and true to how they would in real life. The car reacts to the way you drive it, the way you expect it to, and also to the environment. Having this ultra realistic physics engine means you are able to anticipate when you are about to loose it in the corners, even though, you cant physically feel the forces on the car. Result: awesome fun. Best driving game ever.
