Many people unfairly compare this game to the Pokemon series. While there are many obvious similarities, Fossil Fighters has a unique battle system that requires a different type of strategy. On the surface it may seem easy, but the turn-based combat is surprisingly deep. Also, digging for fossils using your stylus never gets old. The story may be goofy and the characters a bit annoying, but this is definitely a fun, lighthearted game that anyone can enjoy.

Fossil Fighters Frontier is a sequel to the original game on DS. This time a vehicle has been added to the game so that players can drive around different environments and collect fossils to create their dinosaurs. The game is accessible for children and easy to understand. People who enjoy other collecting and battling games like Pokemon and Digimon will probably have fun with this title.

Great game, graphics, overall good entertainment. I was glad the best buy wasn't out of stock like most stores and that they did a price match!!!!

Fossil Fighters Frontier does evolve into a fun and solid RPG adventure worth taking the time to dig up. Fortunately, even though the major elements are repetitive, they are simple and entertaining. The story is mostly cheesy but it frequently put a smile on my face and was a main reason that I wanted to keep playing. Players wanting a simple but entertaining light RPG experience will scratch that itch well with Fossil Fighters: Frontier.

Great game for 7+ yrs old. Excavate dinosaur fossils and revive them. Learn about different dinosaurs.

Let me put it this way. This game ended up costing us a couple hundred dollars more. Our 12 year old girl loved it so much, she wore out her 3DS buttons. Making her happy was our only goal. Buying her a new 3DS XL to replace her worn out 3DS made her over the top ecstatic. And this time we bought an extended service policy for her 3DS XL.

This is my son's first time playing Fossil Fighters and he loves this game! Watching him play, the format of the game with the dinosaurs battling each other kind of reminds of the Pokemon battles in the Pokemon games (like Omega Ruby). This is a great game for little dinosaur lovers, and at a reasonable price too.

A little on the violent side but sort of fantasy violence given it's about dinosaurs. Seems to be a "hidden gem" of a game but likely to be very popular in the pre-teen/teen set.

This is a good adventure game if your child likes dinosaurs. Let's them find fossils create dinosaurs and battle the computer or online player if they have a wifi connection.

Fossil Fighters Frontier is the third installment of the series. This time you get a vehicle equipped Vivosaurs hunting tools, players now get go anywhere to dig for fossils. New characters, new battle system, and another chapter in the world of Fossil Fighters.

I purchased this game for my son. He enjoyed the first fossil fighters so much, I had to get the new one for him too. The game starts out with a theme song. First for me. Catching tune. Game play was very fun, for my son (13yr old ).

My son was hesitant to buy this game due to the changes in gameplay. However, the changes are an overall improvement.

My sister actually really enjoys this game. A bit short of a story line but overall it's good.

This game is great it's Pokemon meets dinosaurs but with some othe interesting element fun game

I bought this for my son who has had alll of the fossil fighter games. He really likes it a lot. There are things similiar to the other games, but new things that make it unique. The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because he was disappointed that they left some of the previous play features out that he really enjoyed.

This is the new kid on the block; they rival Pokemon in every way...but with jeeps!
