Foul Play is an overlooked comedy classic. It's not a laugh out loud type of comedy you would expect from an early Chevy Chase movie, but Goldie Hawn is at her best in this one. Chase is good in his first major role but this isn't Clark Griswold from the Vacation movies. There are moments that will make you see why he would go on to do more goofy comedy roles, but for the most part he's pretty tame in this one. He and Hawn are good together and would go on to costar in Seems Like Old Times a couple of years later. The supporting cast is great with Brian Dennehy, Burgess Meredith, and Dudley Moore in a very funny smaller role. The two old ladies playing Scrabble is one of the funniest parts of the movie... The only smaller gripes I have about the movie are it's 2 hour run time, which is a bit long for a comedy in my opinion, and some people who have never seen the movie may find the it a bit dated. But if your a fan of the cast this one is a must-see... The DVD itself is nothing special-just the movie. No special features on this one...B-

Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn are both exceptional in this movie. They work very well together.

Bought for the wife. It is one of her favorite movies. Older movie but very funny.

This is Chevy Chase's best outing. I love this movie! He actually plays a character without being overwhelmingly "Chevy". with all of the the same traits. Goldie and the supporting cast are great as well. The blu-ray is good quality. Audio is good tool. As I remember there are no extras on the blu-ray. I enjoyed it. I will get many sittings with this movie.

If you like the flight Attendant you'll love this film.. Though Farrah Fawcett was meant to play the lead.. I can't imagine anyone but Goldie Hann ..

Dudley Moore steals the show in this movie. Good "Hitchcock-like" plot, music score and scenery. Action scenes at the end add the final touches to provide for great entertainment.

If you like Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase you will love this movie. Burgess Meredith in there as well. Good watch.
