"Frank & Lola" has a noir-ish sense of craftsmanship, and its way with psychosexual issues is intriguing, coloring this game of manipulation with salacious details. Power plays dominate the proceedings, and Shannon is especially sharp with this type of conflict, delivering a coiled performance that's coolly observational, making Frank's care for Lola waver between romantic protection and big game hunting, keeping tabs on the woman, testing her in small ways. Poots is a fine screen partner (though the British actress's stiff American accent continues to distract), but this is really the Shannon Show, and he's great, especially during moments with Nyqvist, who's nicely reptilian. Ross wisely keeps attention on his cast, allowing "Frank & Lola" to develop a sense of instability and increase its potential for violence without turning to predictable plotting just to lubricate suspense. It's not a major offering of uneasiness, but its toxic charms soon become riveting.

I enjoyed this movie as it kept my curiosity and interest throughout the entire film. The theme was intriguing and made me wonder what next! Not a bad flick to watch and enjoy the evening with. Enjoy!

Movie was okay but blu ray did not really have any special features. I watched it for Imogen Poots and I wish she was more in it. Very indie/euro type feel to the movie. Not sure I would reccomend.

Good on you Michael, as usual you delivered a good performance and so did Imogen Poots didn't know you had it in you to go that far.

Michael Shannon is a remarkable actor who is just now getting his due and his performance is worth the price of admission.

A dysfunctional romance story. (could be your neighbor)! Of two people trying to figure each other out - Their interested in each other, But trust is a big issue. We all know if there is a lack of trust, There is a lack of love. Will she be faithful? Will he give her what she needs? (Does she know what she needs)? How far will he go to get to the bottom of their problems? Ahhhhh, the Web we weave.

This is a good movie. It's got an indie vibe and may move alittle slow for others but the end goal is good!

Great late night, Friday night thriller, that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I saw the preview of this movie while watching another movie, and decided I had to OWN this movie. I am a BIG fan of Michael Shannon and Imogen Poots so right off thought it would be a good movie! It took some twists and turns but all in all one of the best movies I have seen so far this year

Michael Shannon never dissapoints and this film proves it.

Michael Shannon (From Boardwalk Empire fame) is great as the chef here and Imogen Poots is just sooo darn 'wide-eyed' adorable. Just can't help but care for what these two characters go through.

Michael Shannon is one of my favorite actors, and he never fails to impress. He's great in this movie. The movie was nothing like I expected, but in a good way!

This is a tension filled film without a happy ending. I like the actors performances throughout the film. If you only like happy films, grow up.
