love the talking feature

It does everything we need it to for a great price! Great for when you struggle with spelling some words; love all the features. We use it often!

excellent electronic dictionary

Hard to read

He tried to use this new one, the voice was fine although robotic, but the blue type on green screen was very difficult to read. I even had trouble reading it. We had to take it back.

Nice language tool for students

Franklin speaking dictionary

It is a nice size that doesn't take up much room. I like the speaking part so I know immediately if I have spelled a word wrong. It is so much easier than looking up a word in a big, clumsy dictionary.

Helpful but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little electronic gadget for quick definitions, however be forewarned that my child looked up DONKEY for a homework assignment and the one definition is "a domesticated (insert 3 letter curse word for butt)" to which we thankfully could laugh off but others might not be so understanding. So, other definitions may exist in its memory as well.
