This was a pretty fun mashup of different genre films. It's primarily a teen comedy with elements of "horror"/parody? blended in. There are no "jump out" scares at all, but just the fact that there are vampires, zombies and aliens I guess would bring in that category. There are a lot of big names in this movie and are all pretty well featured. While it seemed a bit crammed at times, they did serve their purpose. The main cast is likable, save for those who are deliberately supposed to be jerks. Even then, they were parodies of those types of characters, so more levity. Although there aren't too many LOL moments, I had a few chuckles here and there and really did enjoy watching it. Ok, the ending with the alien#s# could've gone a different direction, but eh, it is what it is. In short, stupid funny. Nothing too cerebral or dread inducing, just a fun film to put on and enjoy.

This is a fun horror/comedy. Yes, there are jokes about a highschool kid looking to lose his virginity, but there are zombies, vampires, and aliens thrown in for good measure. Good makeup effects help this movie to stand out.
