I cut the cord a couple of years ago but still missed watching ESPN. My wife missed HGTV. We got a free trial of Sling TV when we purchased the Firestick and we continue to use it for only $20/month. Has worked well for us.

Great TV option if you don’t want the cable price with channels you will never watch. Works great if you use the individual channels apps and sign in under the sling acccount. The Sling app usually has some bugs.

So 3ish years ago, when the Sling first came to market I tested it out then...and it was a joke. Lag, slow UI, list goes on. It has drastically improved in that department. Right now I'm on a 30-day trial from buying a streaming product. Select the Blue/Orange plan. It is market dependent on certain local networks, of which, I am not in the market. With another device apparently you can get your locals "ran through" the Sling account, not too sure on that but its not the best solution I am finding for me. However, the UI is drastically improved over lag and such and easy to navigate.

SlingTV isn’t without its faults (limited DVR capacity/capability, channel limitations, etc), but overall it’s a great alternative for those wishing to “cut the cord”. Almost all of my favorite channels are available and the on-demand options are plenty.

I've tried just about every streaming service out there and keep coming back to Sling. The price is fair and there is never any lag while watching. As with any of the services there are always going to be a channel or two that you wish they had but if you can get over that it's a good choice. My biggest complaint with the others is that they truly limit the amount of streams you can have at one time. Sling says that you can only use two at a time but I've used as many as 6 at a time and have never had a problem. Playstation Vue and Direct Now both logged me out after trying more than 2 at a time on multiple occasions.

Could not be happier, so glad I cut the Cable. Sling TV is working perfectly for the family a me. Try it for 7 or 30 days you will not regret it - Orange & Blue Package.

The Apple TV is easy to use no matter what level of technical ability you have! Compared to other devices researched (and discussed with staff) it is far superior.

Came with ROKU as a free trial. Cutting cable is saving me a fortune. Tried Sling for free which was nice, but going with something else.

Loved the 30 day trial, it’s great for watching all my favorite shows. Especially with the channel live streaming. It’s simply and easy.

I like Sling. They're by far the most affordable of the cable cutting streaming options. Not as full featured as DirectTV Now, gives me most of what I need for less.

I tried sling when I bought my roku. Great service, but I opted to go with Hulu live tv because it has more channels and basic channels so I don’t need to use an antenna

When i purchased my tv. It comes with one month free of sling. And so far i’m loving it. I ended up returning my top box from my cable carrier for the price of sling

So much to choose from. Ordering was fast. No contact. Clear detailed moves and football games. Low prices

Has a good offering of channels but Hulu and Netflix offer more at lower price. Obvious difference is live tv versus day or longer delay. In my world not worth the cost

Good picture quality and good pricing, plus the ability to add or remove channels according to your tastes. Also plenty of sports to watch including NBA League Pass.

I like the simplicity that comes with this streaming service. The ability to pick and choose your packages according to your liking makes this service ideal

Love the new Roku TV and the Sling TV that came along with it. Easy to use and a great plus!

I've been using Sling TV for a few years now. So glad I switched from Time Warner Cable. I would take advantage of a good deal with Time Warner, then would have to haggle every year for a non-bloated new rate. I was tired of playing their game, so I quit and went with Sling TV and haven't looked back. This combined with Tablo for my local channels, and I'm all set. No haggling and no absurd rate increases.

With sling you van cut the cord if your tastes allow the selection. But the much lower price might help. Cord free is coming. Sell your cable stox!
