It was nice to get an opportunity to experience HBO Max for free for 14 days. Lots of great movies and programs on HBO Max, the service is easy to navigate, and the streaming video quality is great. It's a little pricey for my budget, but I may sign up for HBO Max for a month at a time in the future to binge-watch movies and shows I've heard about and missed. Some programs worth checking out: "The Undoing," and The Bee Gees documentary. Wonder Wonder 1984 ("WW84"), not so much.

Really enjoyed my trial of HBO Max so much that I actually decided to purchase a subscription. During the pandemic there were lots of movies hat came straight to this service over the actual movie theaters, however, now it's not so much. Nevertheless, there are still some really good movies to watch and some cool originals. Can't wait for Sony's The Last Of Us to come out next year 2023 though!

It has been great to watch movies at home as they release in theatre. I vastly prefer to watch films on my own own theatre. Something has happened in our society over the last 10 years where people think its okay to talk and use their cell phones during movies at the theatre. I always leave the theatre upset at the rude people who think its okay to ruin the experience for others. With HBO Max I can get back to enjoying movies again.

Love HBO Max! It has many new and old movies that are great for all ages! It has movies that you have been wanting to see and movies you grew up watching that you want to watch with your kids and grandkids. I really love the fact that after movies has been released on DVD, it does not take long for it to show on HBO Max. Also, it has great shows, too. During the 2020 pandemic, HBO Max is great to have because it bring you joy and excitement as you are stuck inside home.

For all you fellow movie buffs the release cycles for new run movies has been turned upside down! Movies used to be released to theaters, then to PayTV then to DVD over a six-month period. Coronavirus pandemic has changed top movie releases are now made simultaneously! One can see a movie in the theater (if still open?) or stream it at home on the same day! That's progress and at least for all Warner Bros.' flicks, we can get them first but not free on HBO max!

The streaming wars really heat up this year, but HBOMax scored a big win by securing several 2021 releases for a month at a time. I wouldn’t have paid for Wonder Woman 84 in a theatre OR to rent, but I’m all in since it comes with a service I’m already set up for. Same with the remake of The Witches. HBO has a good spread of drama, comedy, and fluff (late night with Elmo) and new releases fleshes it out and puts it above Amazon prime for me.

HBO max has some great shows: Succession, for one, is really involving and very binge-worthy. Also, they have a lot of Turner classic movies’ catalogue available so I was able to watch the original King Kong with Faye Ray. In spite of it being from the 1930s, it is by far the best King Kong movie out there. None of the remakes have improved on the original. HBO max has tons of awesome entertainment.

HBOMAX is a pretty great service provided you enjoy the content they have. It still needs to implement 4K comparability for most titles and shows, but the flagship releases often have Dolby Atmos and Vision, which is great. A lot of film companies are releasing films through this service, so if you're not too jazzed about going to a movie theatre in a pandemic, this would be the only way to see those films without waiting for a while.

I had a free 14 day trial hoping to use it for the Snider cut of Justice League. That free trial has turned into 5 months of being a subscriber. The new releases on the streaming service (first 30 days) make the 14.99/month so worth it. JL, King King vs Godzilla, MK, and soon the new Conjuring are a huge plus in justifying paying for another streaming service. Super happy I decided to keep it around after my free trial.

You can't be mad at a free trial right? I enjoyed the service. It has some great HBO originals for sure. I loved The Wire, The Pacific, Band of Brothers, and Chernobyl. Just know going into this that if you haven't seen any of these, you will end up renewing and binging these shows. You will question yourself as to why you've never seen them before and they will make you a much pickier TV viewer with how far they raised the bar.

HBO Max is a must have streaming app. Especially now that HBO has decided to release new movies on the platform like Wonder Woman 1984, and The Little Things are some good examples. The downsides are that you have provide your credit card information, and the price after the Free 14 days ($14.99+tax/month) is not inexpensive. Nonetheless, I would recommend HBO Max for the movie goer. great value.

Great streaming service with large library of shows beyond HBO’s own library. HBO Max includes the DC Universe library, Dr Who, all HBO series and a large movie library. Also, in 2021, Warner studios is releasing all of their new movies on HBO Max same day as they’re available in theatre. WW84 was first movie and it was great to watch it on my home theatre instead of venturing to theatre and risking covid during pandemic.

HBOMax is worth having if for no other reason than all the WB movies being released this year are included for a 26 day period upon release in the theater, but is it worth the monthly price they are charging considering the price that Disney+ and Apple TV+ are charging. You have to decide what your pocket book can afford. I guess if you went to a lot of movies in the past, then this probably pays for itself.

HBO Max, while not quite on the level of Disney+ and certainly not Hulu or Netflix in comparison, still manages to include worthy titles such as Euphoria, Game of Thrones, Watchmen, and classic movies from WB (Warner Bros.). More movies are on their way such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and with the recent success of the decent Wonder Woman 1984, the future looks bright for this ever-growing streaming service.

Pretty awesome selection. Wish the quality and connection service were a little better for some titles (noticed varying resolutions on some that couldn't be changed due to low connection speeds). Fairly good UI, would like a few more tweaks to that and more customised search options in the future. This was a little difficult to use for me but in the future I could see it working much better.

Having just Friends and Big Bang Theory almost makes it worth it. Add on the movies that are released the same time as theaters and instant access to HBO shows and movies make it great. Periodically, had some issues with the app on Apple TV 4K where I had to reboot the Apple TV, but with recent updates seems to have fixed the issue.

Its a great way to try HBO Max without purchasing, My family enjoyed watching Wonder Woman 1984. Lots of good movies especially if you like DC. Only issue is when the 14 day trial is over you have to pay 14.99 each month and you can't do any other promotions on the account you open with you email. You can make another account by using a different email and take advantage of the 69.99 for 6 months.

I was able to get a 2 week free trial just for buying a video game that I love. This was a great opportunity to try HBO Max and see some premium WB movies (DC) like Justice League the Snyder Cut when it came out and WW84. But then I just found so much more and decided to subscribe, especially because have apps for PS4, PS5, and now just this week, the LG smart TVs.

I'm loving HBO max so far. This has some exclusive content not available on the normal HBO channels. I got to see WW84 and Little Things as part of the same as theater releases. That is a great bonus. They will be releasing more big titles as part of the same day as movie theater release. Looking forward to that. Only point of improvement is to improve the app - else HBO Max is great.

What a great way to watch HBO max for free. Thanks Bestbuy! After a month of free use, I opted to subscribe to HBO MAX because of they simultaneously showing their new films same day as they are shown in theaters. Overall, it's a great service. But you a going to add another subscription on your long list of monthly payment/ subscription which sucks big time!
