This is really good especially if you’re someone who likes to take a lot of pictures or if you need a lot of storage for apps. I buy the extra storage for $0.99 now for more storage for pictures.

The computer is good, fast and does everything for me as a student, I haven't seen it lag yet, but its battery lasts much less than I expected. Before this computer, I was using a 2014 MacBook and the battery life is almost the same, so it was much lower than my expectations. When I bought it from Best Buy, it said that I could pick it up the same day, but they made me wait for 2 days. I had to go to the store twice and they turned me down saying it wasn't ready for pickup yet.

iCloud Plus is so useful! Immediately after getting it, I dumped all my photos and files into the cloud, since it included 50GB of storage, significantly more than any free cloud storage service I've used. The family sharing feature is lovely, since it means my siblings and I can all use the storage. Also, I love that it comes with useful internet-related features, like the Private Relay for securing and hiding your IP address from trackers online, and the Hide My Email feature, which creates a random throwaway email address that forwards emails to you when you don't want to use your personal email address to websites and advertisers. Cool stuff!

If you’re comfortable with refurbished gear—and especially if you don’t mind the older Intel-based internals and butterfly keyboard—this MacBook Pro is a fantastic value. It looks and performs like new most of the time, and the savings can be significant. Just ensure you inspect the charger right away and monitor battery health over time.

My favorite lens. I had it on an R7 and it reaches forever. I just changed to an R6 full frame. It doesn’t reach as far but it’s clearer. I’ve gotten a lot of really good pictures and I’m not that good of a photographer. I’d highly recommend it. It’s also pretty decent as a macro lens. You can even buy a 1.4 or 2.0 extender and make it reach farther although I’ve read it makes it very dark.
