Worked great for the first 18 months, then the battery started acting strangely. After unplugging the phone from the charger it would sometime reset - even with 50% battery life indicated. After removing unneeded apps to see if they were draining the battery a few days later the screen is bulging out, assume a bad battery. At 18 months out of warranty and trying to see how much a repair will cost.

YouTube Premium is a MUST HAVE. With the amount of YouTube that I watch each day, there is simply no way that I can afford the time it takes to watch all of the ads. I also love the ability to close the app and still listen to my favorite videos and podcasts while I do the dishes or change my 2 year old. I will cancel Netflix, Hulu and Disney+ before I cancel my YouTube subscription!

Honestly, if you’re on the fence—try the trial. I’m glad I did. It’s just one of those little upgrades that actually makes your day smoother.

Youtube Premium has been awesome for me. Not having ads is great and being able to basically use it as a music app is awesome for when I want to listen to a video and do something else at the same time. I’m not sure it’s worth the price point, but the trial is nice.
