Hard to setup, no technical support, no real person to talk to. Never able to make phone call. It's a scam. Never buy anything from Freedompop. It doesn't worth one star.

I purchased it for travel purposes as a replacement for my foreign SIM whenever I'm in the U.S. The app itself is not available in all countries. So one might first need to find an open Wi-Fi to install the app. Otherwise calls are not possible. The app, however, crashes regularly. And add the calls are made as IP calls you find yourself in interrupted conversations because the phone switches from mobile network to Wi-Fi whenever one is close by. So sometimes it's better to turn off Wi-Fi.

I don't like to install FreedomPop messaging app in order to use phone and text since I have T-Mobile pay as you go plan already. Therefore, I only use it for data only. It is using AT&T network and so far covering most my area. 1GB per month for data for less than $7 per month for 3 months is good for trial. I will later upgrade to $49.99 for 12 months (less than $5/month). Overall it is good and cheap for data plan.

I love FPOP its free and reliable works with ATT network.

Me and my family we came a couple times a year to the U.S. and in that case this sim is very useful. I disable Applications that consume too much data (Facebook, etc.). What I use is WhatsApp for Basic communication. For that it serves very well.

As far as I can tell, this is a data only SIM and you're required to download an app to do text and voice. I eventually got it to work, but I needed to install it on a European iPhone, which didn't have access to the app. I ended up signing in with a US account and it worked None of this was clear from the description

In the end, the sim and service worked great. Sadly, this sim did not work in the phone I intended it for, but that's because Freedom Pop service is...well, is it the service, or the founders terms of service? Anyway, that phone was blacklisted because I refused payment on more services but I did it though my bank instead of through them. So they ruined a brand new phone I had just bought in full from them. But, the service itself - always great, at least in my area, and the price for this 3 months, well amazing. I had to put the sim in my unlocked Iphone instead and since I couldn't use it in my android as I intended, I let a friend use it.

This sim is good for using data purpose only, 1GB LTE/month for 3 months with just $10 is cheaper than other carriers.

I bought this freedompop sim that offers great deal to save lots of money. It works ok, but the call quality is not so good. Overall it works for me.

Bought this knowing freedompop had lot of complaints. But for me the 3 month use was okay.

Bought this because the price was right for three months. I have an iPhone XS Max - with an AT&T SoftSIM as primary service. FreedomPop does not work in this configuration. The SIM MUST be primary and if you've set up your iPhone with SoftSIM on another character, you will not be able to use this service. Also - a heads up. I was told my FreedomPop tech support (which by the way I feel their online help is EXCELLENT - very fast to respond and it was clear they knew what they were talking about) that you must have data roaming on if using this product. Could get expensive if you forget to turn it off when traveling out of the USA.

Cheap and flexible prepaid plan. Difficult to configure phone settings.

Great product at a really reasonable price. It works just fine and I am very happy.

It comes with a number a upon activation and the network works everywhere.
