I live in an open space (studio) and this AC cools my entire apartment no matter how hot it is outside! Most importantly it's very quiet. I definitely give it 5 stars.

I purchased the Frigidaire 10,000 BTU over a month ago for my garage space. It does an excellent job of cooling down the entire space. I was concerned it would make too much noise however it doesn't. You can adjust the blowing speed to minimize sound.

I purchased this for a friend in need. I was pleasantly surprised that the unit cooled the room almost immediately and this unit was reasonably priced. I was also happy that I could purchase a warranty for it.

The Installation was fairly simple and instructions were clear. I love the remote control so I can adjust the temp in bed. The vents could be better, the air seems to blow straight out no matter how I adjust them. The Econ feature is pretty useful to turn on when you leave to keep the room from getting piping hot. Cold air is instant and the fan is pretty powerful. Pretty nice unit.

I got a very good price at Best Buy. It was a very easy installation. It cools very nicely and is fairly quiet.

This air conditioner was easy to install (half hour) and cools my kitchen and living room quickly. I like the energy saving mode also. Definitely a good purchase.

Works as expected. Reasonable quiet. Purchased for upstairs bedroom that add on central air doesn't keep cool. This does.

This air conditioner works great. We have a really large bedroom and it has ben hot and muggy (lower 90's.) The room usually cools down within a few minutes and I am able to sleep comfortably. This unit is not ultra quiet if you must sleep in complete silence. I enjoy the white noise, it actually helps me sleep. It is not obnoxiously loud either. But again I think that is all relative to your comfort level.

Cools very fast. Fan is a little noisier than I expected. Installation took less than 20 minutes. Overall very satisfied.

I bought this on sale this summer to cool my daughters room. After extensive research, I decided to go with the Frigidaire. It was easy to install right out of the box. I keep it on eco-mode, which cools the room just fine. The remote is handy and has some great features. I would definitely recommend this unit if you are looking for a low priced option to keep a room cool.

Bought this for the front portion of my mobile home instead of spending $6000 on central air. Unfortunately; the only window of appropriate size was right next to the television. I must say the unit is a little louder than I expected, but overall it exceeds my expectations due to the excellent cooling power.

We just moved into a new home in the middle of the summer, and needed air conditioners to cover our first and second floors. For approximately 900 square feet on the first floor, the 10,000 BTU Frigidaire works great. We turned it on medium cool, set the temp at 70F, and it cooled the entire floor within 30 minutes. Have not yet used the remote control, so I can't comment on that, but so far I'm satisfied with this a/c.

I've been looking to purchase an air conditioner for a while now and searched many stores online for the best deal. I finally found this AC. I brought it home, hooked it up and it works great!!! My apartment gets cool fairly quick. I don't really like the auto setting because it turns on them one second later shuts off so I just have to figure out that setting.

Works well, installation was easy. Remote and control panel are easy to understand and use.

Of the 5 or so window air conditioners I've owned I would say this one was the easiest to install. It comes with the foam and tape and the accordions are of better quality than the 2 others I have now. I also like how it looks modern with minimalist buttons and no dials.

I have an LG a/c window unit with the same BTUs, but my Frigidaire unit works much better. The temperature has been consistently over 100 degrees outside, but my unit has kept the temperature inside a comfortable 72 degrees; without really impacting my electric bill that much. I also like that the washable filter light comes on when you need to clean the filter, since it takes the guess work out.
