Love that this has an auto and economy setting. You can set it and forget it, without worrying about a drain on your electricity or your pocketbook. It cools most the first floor of my farm house and it doesn't take all day to make it happen.

Great price and the staff was very helpful, needed to replace the window unit at my mothers house. Item was on sale, we also put a warranty on it at a great price. Mother very happy with the new a/c. Best Buy has always been there when we needed to replace or buy a new item.

I was skeptic about the performance of this unit in my 380 sf garage but surprisingly, the unit manage to cool the room in a few minutes and only require periodic auto restart to maintain a 76 degrees in California's San Fernando Valley. I'd recommend the unit for sure.

purchase this one to replace the previous Frigidaire 5000 btu one, and it works great for the larger bedroom in the summer.

This is the fourth Frigidaire air conditioner I've bought. The positive is the same: does a great job of keeping the room cool even at low speed in very hot weather which is the most important thing it can do. But, the build quality seems lacking compared to the older models, and it makes quite a bit more rattling noises than they did as well.

I research everything before buying, looking at reviews, options, etc. When I go to a store to buy something, I know exactly what I am getting. The same was for buying this air conditioner. Great reviews for a nice product at a great price. The one thing I would change, which is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, is that the 8-way direction is over-rated. I thought more ways would be better, but it is difficult to know which way the air will be forced, or should be forced. With 4-way, there is no guessing. However, I would take all the other options of this air conditioner.

I have 3 8000 btu ac's that are the same model. Decided to upgrade the living room for a faster cool and this does the job perfectly.

I was looking for 10,000 BTU unit, Best buy had the one I was looking for at the cheapest price. it was very easy to install....

Got through second summer with this air conditioner.At one point seemed to be slowing down,maybe waterlogged from days of 100% humidity 90 degrees,but then it picked up after a bit and was fine.

Received in timely fashion. Unit works fine. Cools really well. Like multi-directional levers. Has more than enough juice for the room it's in. Highly recommend!

Thought this tiny unit would be too weak for a large studio but it worked perfectly. Not too loud, worked in a one bedroom also, using fans to distribute air.
