Does the job in our 650 sq ft house. It was easy to install. It's quite. You can program it. Has a remote. Blows hard.

The Air Condition was an easy set-up once you read the directions. It works wonderfully and the remote is awesome.

This air conditioner keeps our living area very comfortable on the warmest days. The side panels are insulated which helps keep the heat out. It was easy to install

AC 10000 BTU unit does a great job. I did have a little misgiving concerning the unit building up too much water in its bottom tray and consequently the cooling fan for the condenser was sort of running in water and splattering it all over the inside of unit. There is NO drain for this! I called about it, and was told it was normal, I really dont think so. I siphoned it out, almost an inch deep ! (dont drill any holes)

I have a small house. I think the square footage of my living room/dining room is 450 which is why I went with the 10,000 BTU. Combined with a tower fan and the area stays pretty cool. I keep the unit between 71 and 73 and it's quite comfortable. And may I add we have had five heatwaves thus far this summer. This baby has been kicking on low fan 24/7 with no issues (touch wood). It's really quiet, like a pleasant, background white noise. I was unnerved at how the water wasn't really draining in the drip pan outside. Per Fridgedaire, that is how the copper tubing stays cool. Hot tubes go through water to cool down and burn off the water. That may not be the exact wording from the customer service person but the gist of it is there is no need to have the water draining because it's cooling the tubing. Pretty neat idea. All in all, great purchase and quite the life saver in this heat.

After reading some of the reviews, I went ahead and bought the unit. Installation was simple despite its weight. It has served well for over a month of continuous operation. I have had no need to use anything above the low fan speed. I am not very convinced about the benefit of the Econ mode and the unit is a bit noisy but nothing above what I expected for a unit this size. None of these observations would have changed my purchase decision.

It replaced a Sharp of the same BTU capacity that was needing a charge. This one definitely cools better than the old one. The face is different from the Sharp but the shell looks the same and the remote is very similar. The remote temperature setting on the remote is very handy. Using the remote temperature setting and economy setting seems to be saving considerably over the one it replaced.

We've had this running for almost 2 months and it has worked well to cool down our entire 1 BR apartment. Best of all, it seems to work efficiently because our electric bill has remained very reasonable. The only caveat is it is loud and because its in the same room as the TV, we have to turn it up even on the lowest setting. To be fair, it does cool down the entire apartment, so it makes sense.

This a/c unit works far better than my older unit . It cools off my entire 700 sq foot house . My electric bills are lower than the summer before and my house is cooler than the summer before . The extra money for the unit will pay for itself after 3 summers. I only use a/c from late May until mid September on average .

Bought this in the middle of the heat streak when my other air conditioner at work died. It does a great job of cooling the room. Love the timer feature so I can set it to come in in the early morning and it is already doing the job of cooling the room for the day. And the remote is handy too as it saves me having to climb to set the timer.

This unit cools a large area for us quite nicely but I wish it wasn't so loud. We have it located in the living room which is spacious so if you are sitting on the other side of the room, it's less annoying but if you are watching television you'll have to turn up the volume. I don't know if anyone makes an air conditioner with 10,000 or more BTUs that is quiet.

The a.c. unit for the most part is good. Very cold! Comes with everything you need to install it nicely in a window. Cons: a little to loud for me. The water from inside the unit does not drain properly and remains in unit. When it turns on, it makes a swiching water noise.

Awesome air conditioner. Unit was super easy to put together and install. It took us less than 30 minutes from opening the box to cooling our upstairs. Simple & easy to use controls and unit is fairly quiet. Completely satisfied with our purchase.

This was a quick purchase because our old air conditioner broke in 90 degree weather. I didn't check into the reviews as much as I usually do. This air conditioner ended up being a great purchase. Very light and easy to install. Love the remote and easy settings. I would recommend this product.

Meets all expectations, l.e. Easy to install, easy to operate, remote control is great, thermostat is excellent at maintaining desired temperature, cycles on and off with little noise - overall operates efficiently and with little noise.

The unit cools 800 sq ft single level nicely when needed occasionally. I put it in a back room to reduce noise. The noise will interfere with tv and conversations if located in the main living space. I would not recommend it for a continued hot climate. It works great for cooling off our summer home at night.

This air conditioner is quiet, efficient, easy to operate and remote control comes in handy.

It is a great air conditioner and works great. Follow the instructions on the installation and everything will work the way it is supposed to. Make sure there is nothing blocking the remote control from the unit because it communicates with it constantly. Great unit and works with high humidity as well.

Our old air conditioner was great, unless it was really hot outside. Then it had to work harder and didn't cool as well. We decided to wait it out and finish the season before getting a new one, and we are very pleased with this one. The 10,000 BTUs seem a better fit for the space as it is quieter and cools very quickly.

Bought this for our living space in the attic that isn't really cool at all. Does the job. Love that it comes with a remote. Easy install. Different settings, easy to use. We also bought the same a.c. but an 8000 btu one for our room that's also in the attic. No complaints fo both units.
