We bought this to cool our little guest house. It is about 500 sq ft (a bit more than the 450 sq ft estimate for this unit). When we first turned it on it didn't begin cooling. My son unplugged it and plugged it back in. It started working like a charm and has been working great for the past 4 days. We especilly enjoy that it has the ability to set the temp and when it reaches that temp... it turns off. We love it!

I have this cooling a room that is 17 x 24'. Runs on the economy setting and keeps room comfortable.

No problems with the AC itself; I've had another identical one for years and it still works perfectly. Be aware you need a minimum width of 23 inches to get it into the window space even though the AC is only 19 inches wide. Fortunately, I was able to sand off the quarter-inch tabs on the accordion panels to fit it into my 22.5 inch windows.

The air conditioner is kinda loud. But not overly. The unit does cool down the room very well.

After using the old unit that came with the house, this unit is quite an upgrade. I only have experience with a couple of other window units and this one has done very well this hot and humid summer. This unit is pretty quiet and doesn't make my lights dim when it turns on. Install was easy. I would recommend this .

These air conditioners cool large areas easily. They are a good buy at a reasonable price.

I purchased this unit for my 300sf bedroom. Price couldn't be beat for what you get. The larger unit does not have to run that hard and has no problem cooling the hallway as well. I paired it with an EZ AC mount I bought online. Install was a breeze. Love the unit. I would post a photo but I'm guessing most people know what an air conditioner in a window looks like.

This is our second frigidaire ac-the last one we had for 8 years before it gave out and we use it a lot. So we decided to go with the same brand again and best buy offered a wonderful price on it. We are once again extremely happy with our product. It works just as well as the last one. I would recommend this air conditioner to anyone-especially someone getting their first one.

I purchased this unit for a rental house. It keeps the rooms cool and isn't very loud.

Assembly and installation was as simple as the previous Frigidaire air conditioner which we have in the bedroom. This one for the living room is great. Quiet and cools the room perfectly with the pre- programmed settings for best efficiency. Looking foward to a comfortable Summer in our living room
