I love, love, LOVE my new A/C!!! It is so easy to use & the remote...don't get me started!!!! I love the whole thing about the A/C & the remote!!!!!!!

Cools the 3 small rooms in house - energy saving modes and remote control a plus

It has done a good job of cooling two rooms of an older home during 100 degree weather. Remote is a nice addition. There were quality control issues from the factory, one vent was installed incorrectly and a mounting bracket was bent, not any fault of best buy or shipping. Was able the repair them during installation.

This is my second A/C purchase within the last year and both times I bought Frigidaire. This latest one (the 15,100 btu FFRE1533S1 ) is fine, although installing it alone is not something I'd do very often (because of its weight). I did it, but I don't recommend installing it on your own, if you have a choice. Even so, it works VERY well and more than does the job. In fact, my other Frigidaire unit works amazingly well, too, and even though I have a lot of space to cool in each room, these units can make it VERY cold in a relatively short time...in fact, for the first time in years of owning A/C units in various houses, these consistently cool their respective rooms so fast I have to raise the temperature setting or wear a sweater. This has been true even with our recent heatwave! Also, I love being able to set it to sleep mode when I leave the great-room for the night. Sleep mode really saves money, as does the econo mode, too. When you need to, you can just let it run at full bore for rapid cooling. The unit works well and you will be surprised at the many features it has...they are VERY helpful, effectively cooling the room when you need it, but also are economical and versatile. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. It is just what I wanted and works very well.

Very quiet big unit. I can hardly hear it. Seems to cool well so far, and we are in the hot summer months. We have a turn of the century home, with little to no insulation in walls and it's keeping home comfortably cool without struggle. Took two people to put in, as it is heavy, but otherwise easy installation. So far, so good

This air conditioner is OK. I use it to cool a 500 square foot room. I really like the remote. Overall its an average A/C

My Frigidaire 5100 BTU window unit is quieter then my Frigidaire window unit has in my bedroom. The 5100 BTU cools down my first floor easily. The remote control gets tricky when clicking around a corner but works fine head on. Best purchase I made this year and I bought all new kitchen appliances as well.

This Frigidaire air conditioner, FFRE1533S1, definitely works well and cools down the area in a minimal amount of time. It is quieter in comparison to other window air conditioners I've owned. The product arrived in a timely fashion and was not damaged via shipment, thanks to the sufficient packaging.

I purchased this air conditioner during the heat wave we were getting in New York and it was wonderful. I have a very big living room and dining room that are both open into each other and it cools the whole downstairs of my house. I recommend this BTU for anyone with a big area to keep cool.

This unit has performed as expected and for that I am grateful and satisfied. It was easy to install, with the help of another person. Many times I have bought products such as this that have not performed even to their minimum expressed performances, this is not the case so far. Great product.

Keeps the entire floor of about 900 square feet cool. I finally found an air conditioner remote useful in that it displays the temperature where you put the remote. So, I can set the temperature on the air conditioner and put the remote in another room and see the temperature difference.

Have it cooling the dining room, living room and kitchen. Almost as good as central air. Had help installing because of it's size. Unless your mechanically inclined, you will probably need help too. Don't plan on moving it during the winter because its size. Find a cover for it.

this thing is great. relatively quiet, the timer function is wonderful. very sturdy in window installation. looks great in my window, I needed a unit to cool my entire downstairs, the price was right, it is a brand with a good reputation. totally happy with this purchase.

It's an air conditioner and it does exactly what it's suppose to do. It can cool my 600 sq ft room without any problems. My only complaint is that these things aren't as sturdy as they use to be anymore. It's very plasticky and the included foams for block the draft are so darn cheap... But so are most others.

We were looking for an A/C that was quiet yet bigger than 5000 BTU's. This one is perfect. Our old office A/C was so loud we had to shut it off just to talk on the phone. This has more than three times the BTU's yet it's twice as quiet. Absolutely love it.

I really like this unit. Cools off my living/dining room (800+ sqft) quickly. Its relatively quiet too. Much quieter than my previous "quiet" air conditioner. All in all, I'm very pleased and would recommend it!

Gets the job done, I really like the remote control sensing option. It is also pretty quiet considering the amount of air air pushes, much better than my older unit that it replaced.

This air conditioner kept the whole family cool during the summer and it worked as it was supposed to. we were very pleased with how easy it was to mount and how easy it was to work!

By far the best and largest window air conditioner I've ever bought. It helped lower my electric bill, by not having to work as hard as the smaller models. Decently quiet also.
