We purchased this unit for our open floor living area and so far we have been very satisfied. The noise is fairly typical for a unit this size and it has an impressive cooling ability. Keep in mind that this is a heavy unit and perhaps the only down side is that the assembly is a little complicated and the instructions could have been better

We are happy with the air conditioner although we had difficulty installing it in the window. Thus far, it is doing a good job cooling our large living room. Only issue was the condition of the box when it arrived via UPS as box was crushed in a few areas and frame of a/c was slightly bent. We were concerned whether it would work but all is well.

Works well for my LR/DR/Kitchen area. A little quieter would be better, but it's been so long since I have not had central air, it's possible I just am not used to the noise. I like the different type of settings (Ecoomy, Sleep,etc).

Needed an AC replacement for my living room and boy did I hit the jackpot. This thing cools the entire room in a relatively quick manner. And I had to shut it off because of how cold the room got. Best purchase I've made so far from Best Buy;

I had a kenmore before this and it didn’t last me that long and it would blow hot air. I have had my Frigidaire AC unit for a year now and it’s still blows cold as ever! Best AC unit I ever bought! Will definitely buy again!!!

We needed an air conditioner for our office and after reading the reviews on this one, I made the purchase and I was glad I did. Its perfect for our needs. Now our office is nice and cool. Very powerful air conditioner.

Our space has 15' ceilings and we're on top floor of building. This unit is a little noisy but it does a great job keeping the space cool.

I have had this window air conditioner for about 10 months now.when I first installed it - it would not turn on.They stood behind there warranty and sent a repairman to fix it. It has a remote control and even reading the instructions I could not tell how to make it cycle to the temperature that I had it set on. They stood behind there warranty and sent a repairman out to show me how to work the window air conditioner. He told me that the remote was to close to the window air conditioner. And that the remote has to be about 12 to 15 feet away from the AC and pointed at the AC.And every time I turn the AC on I have to change the settings to cool and to remote sensing. Once I got help to operate it it works good.

I was very happy to finally find an A/C with this high a BTU rating that runs on 110 volts! PLUS, it also works as a thru the wall A/C. So far, so good. Hope it lasts like my last one did.....35 years!!

I bought this AC unit with my living room which is 20 x 30 it works great. So far it has kept it nice and cool in 90° weather. Actually it helps keeps other parts of my house cool also.
