Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the dishwasher's cleaning performance and quiet operation, with many praising its ease of use. However, some users noted that the wash cycles are lengthy, and a few expressed concerns about the rack design and door sturdiness. The relatively small capacity was also mentioned as a drawback by some customers. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and noise levels outweighs the negative comments on cycle times and other minor issues.

Great dishwasher for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the lowest-priced dishwasher my husband and I found. Nothing fancy. It has three wash cycles, plus delay start. Does a great job! I did a load of dishes with dried-on little bits of roast beef and stuff the other day, on normal wash, and there was no food left on any dishes. It is also very quiet! Only drawbacks: it takes a long time-couple hours-to run a full cycle. It also is kind of hard to load. By that I mean, the dishes don't really stand up very well. It doesn't seem like it holds a lot. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

Great for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was our first dishwasher in our new home so since we had to pay someone for a complete installation we did not want to go over the top with price for a dishwasher. After reviewing plenty of options online, I came across this model that fit the price and fit our needs. This washer has the perfect amount of washing features (We only use Normal Wash Mode with Heat dry) and our dishes come out clean. I am very picky with the glasses being spotty, however we have not had this problem at all! The wash time is about 1.5-2 hrs however, we only run our washer about 3x a week and we run it when we are at work so we don't even notice it. If you are used to a silet washer, this one does make some noise, but we barely notice it anymore. I would recommend this product to a friend. I am very satisfied for the low sitcker price and the job that it does on our dishes.

Incredible Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was on sale and eligible for a Texas tax break on Energy Star qualified appliances when I bought it to replace a 14 year old GE dishwasher which had simply stopped working in the middle of a cycle. The great price had me worried that it would be a piece of junk, but after using it for 6 weeks, I have been very pleasantly surprised. It cleans very well for me, using just store-brand dishwashing powder, and I never pre-rinse. It's definitely quieter than my old one, but I think almost any new dishwasher you buy today would be cheaper than any model from 14 years ago. The door and its latch feel less sturdy than on my old one, and even the dispenser lid feels like it was built to break or wear out in a few years. Still, I'm not disappointed in the product at all. I am a little disappointed in the amount of hassle involved to get delivery and installation after buying online. I've got a lot of Best Buy stores near me, but none were selling this model so I had no choice.

Most Cost-Effective Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great value in a dishwasher. The cycles are long but it does the job well and there are several delay settings.. The controls are simple too. But the silverware holder doesn't balance well on the counter so keep your old holder (if you like it) and you'll be fine. The compartment is relatively small, and basic, so a large familiy might want a different model.

Works Well As A Basic Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You have to be realistic when purchasing this dishwasher. For the price you pay, you shouldn't expect fancy cycles, quiet operation, or much else other than a decent ability to clean your dishes, and that it does. It does a pretty good job getting things clean without a need to prewash. However, it is rated at 61db according to Best Buy's specs and I believe it. It is a dishwasher you turn on when you leave the house for work. Do not turn it on in the evening because you can hear it just about anywhere. The other major drawback is that it stinks at drying. Even though it gets pretty hot instead, your dishes will still come out wet. The solution is that somewhere in the middle or even towards the end of the dry cycle, you open it up and pull out the bottom rack. Then, everything does get dry because of I assume evaporation. I know, kinda hard to do if you left it to run while you're gone. I can't complain much because I knew I was getting a very basic dishwasher and for $99, can't complain (on sale for $199 with $100 Energy Star rebate)

Great washer for a family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like everything about this dishwasher. It's quiet, cleans dishes real well and doesn't have a bunch of cycles. I only need it to clean the dishes, not stop and start. But it DES have a delay if need be. The only drawback, is the bottom rack tips back, so put the heavy dishes in the front of the bottom rack.

Excellent Dishwasher for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher only has the basic functions but it is extremely quiet and performs very well. It was even easy to install if you are interested in doing it yourself! It seems to take awhile to run a load of dishes but it is very quiet and everything comes out sparkling clean. Great dishwasher for a low price!

Cheap and cheerful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The door and racks are lightweight and a little cheap-feeling, but otherwise no complaints - it washes very well. I don't pre-rinse anything, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered buying a dishwasher. If you haven't bought a dishwasher in the last ten years, you'll think it's pretty quiet. At $100 less than the next lowest priced dishwasher (which gets equally bad reviews) you can't go too far wrong.

Good option for a tight budget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this a great dishwasher for the money. It takes a long time to wash but it does get the dishes clean. If you have an open floor plan than you may want to think about using the delay wash cycle, because it takes awhile for the cycles to complete.

Good dish washer for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is a good value. The dishes come out spotless and it is very quiet. The only negative I found was the wash cycle seems long and the racks take some getting used to. The tines in the rack are not adjustable and there seems to be some wasted space as far as having enough evenly spaced tines near the edge of the rack. The other complaint is there is no really good spot for bowls. With that being said there are 3 different wash cycles and if you are an educated consumer and read the specs before you buy then you will know what to expect. The wash cycle time can be adjusted depending on how clean you want your dishes. I normally prerinse so if you choose to you can use the light wash cycle. I however do the normal because I have young kids in the house so I tend to do overkill cleaning. All in all it beats spending $150 in parts to fix the old one.

Dang good machine for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife and I bought this Dishwasher to replace a similar bottom-of-the-line Frigidaire Dishwasher we installed years ago when we had just moved into our house and didnt have a lot of money. When we installed the first one, I was a little concerned about the mechanical timer and the tiny pump motor that they put in these things. It did an ok job if you didn't have caked on food and didn't overload it. It was very quiet and very cheap in price, if I remember correctly. The only problem we ever had with the first one was that one of my goofy kids broke the door latch. I ordered a replacement latch and easily installed it myself. Well, that machine finally gave up the ghost after 11 faithful years. No power, no nothing. After two weeks of washing dishes by hand (and that really sucked !!), I decided enough was enough and purchased this model because of the low price. I picked it , took it home, easily slid it in, hooked it up and used it. Boy, this thing washes GREAT !!!!. So far, we have had it about a month now and it is doing a fine job. It washes much better than the old one and we use it every single day. Dishes , glasses, Pots and Pans come out SPOTLESS and we have only used the Normal Cycle button. We really like the smooth touch electronic controls over the mechanical timer that the first dishwasher had. The only reason I did not rate this machine a perfect "5" was for two small reasons. The first would be that on the old model came with an insulated "jacket" that surrounded the tub. I'm sure that the made it quieter when washing. When I pulled this new one out of the box, I noticed that it didn't have one. ( I guess Electrolux had to find some way of saving money by taking something away) Because this is so, there's slightly higher noise level only when the top level is washing, but otherwise, it's nothing to be alarmed at. The second thing is that with this new model, the silverware basket is slightly shorter and narrower, so it kinds of "tips over" if you put something tall in in it. Seeing this, what I should have done is what another reviewer suggested...keep the old silverware basket. Unfortunately, I didnt. With planned obsolescence the way it is today, if we get 11 years of of this dishwasher, then we will have gotten more than our money's worth. Hell, this machine only cost me $260, so that is only $24 bucks a year. You can't go wrong buying this one! Frigidaire did good!

Very pleased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher was the first one for this (old) house of mine. Tired of washing by hand and the constant dirty dishes in the sink. This dishwasher does just want I wanted: stores dirty dishes out of sight; washes them (better than by hand: the sparkle is amazing!) and again stores them until they're put away (or used!). Cleaning very good, and the thing is pretty quiet. Great features considering it was, when I bought it, the cheapest dishwasher BestBuy was selling. Love delayed washing for running the dishwasher when I'm asleep. I'm having a hard time imagining just what dishwashers that cost two or three times as much can do better!

Good Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had this Dishwasher for about a year and it works great. The only drawback is that it has a roughly 2 hour run time. All in all it cleans well and is reasonably quiet. For the price its a great value.

Really good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for my little condo but the washes do take a while. Not enough or well designed racks but excellent for the cheap price. This is my second Frigidaire dishwasher and it's always reliable.

It's the best low cost solution
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We interrupted the cycle by opening it the first time it washed a load...we didn't realize the cycle time was so long on these new ones. Wrong...don't do that. We just started it again without canceling the cycle out and starting over. It ran continuously without shutting down. We had to cancel the cycle to turn it off. The new electronic timers won't adjust for that. You must pre-heat your water by running it at the sink before you fill up the washer or wait longer for the cycle to run as it must heat the water to a disinfective temp of 170 degrees. There is no hook-up kit included....do yourself a favor and get that. No insulation blanket on it so it loses heat fast..keep your old one to tape on or get a sheet of 1/2" foam at Lowe's to tape on it before you install. Get a electrical surge protector for that electronic timer...you don't want that being replaced @ $200 a pop. Just plug one inline wth the power cord. That's a smart choice for any electronics in the kitchen...just a thought. ;o) So far so good...the dishes are clean and other than the long cycle run that one time...it's operated flawless. Just don't interupt the cycle to add a dish or check on the progress. It beats the rest for the money. If it'll hang in there...time will tell...we replaced the same brand of one that lasted 9 years with this one for an updated new one and placed the old one in a flipped home. We sure hope we did the RIGHT thing. Time will tell...

Great Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great dishwasher for the price. It cleans very well and is also very quiet. The sheet metal on the door is very flimsy, but if you are careful enough when installing it, there shouldn't be an issue. Easy installattion.

A Great Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since we didn't need anything too fancy we settled for a Frigidaire 24" dishwasher. I has met and exceeded all of our expectations. It is very quiet running and cleans everything crystal clear. While it will not take off stuck on food, it will still clean every dish without leaving any spots. We are very happy with our new dishwasher.

Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this dishwasher for about a month now with no problems. I can see the quality difference in what we had prior, a Maytag, but for the price it does a great job cleaning the dishes. That is what we paid for. I hope it lasts awhile, as we are planning on doing a kitchen remodel in a couple of years and didn't want to spend $600 on a dishwasher now. So $225 was a perfect fit in our budget. It is a little noisy, but we use the timer to run at night while we are in bed. Overall If you are looking for a good dishwasher for a low price, this is it. I would recommend it.
