We managed to get this oven at a great price, The burners are study and heavy unlike some of the other ovens We looked at, and the price was right.

    Very Good Fridge

I like the look of the 'burner grates'; Frigidaire has done the most attractive job with the allover cast-iron burner grates idea. A word of caution, though; they are heavy and a little awkward when it comes to wiping underneath them. There are three large 'grates' covering the top of the stove. I don't miss the old burner pans, though. I purchased this to replace a 20 year old range. I am struck by how lightweight all mfgs make the inside wire racks these days. This isn't just Frigidaire, they all seem a little flimsy. The bottom pullout on this range is not a drawer for storage, which I miss from my old stove. This range, like a surprising number of others, does not have a self cleaning feature, so that's something to keep in mind, and does not have a timer you can set to start the oven when you are gone. The stove heats to a true temperature and is easy to use. It looks good and does a fine job with baking. Pleased with my purchase so far--I haven't quite had it a week yet.

Going from a 1930s Roper to this was tough. Like so much today the quality is a bit lacking and I dont see it lasting nearly as long. The broiler drawer is really disappointing. I dont feel it is well insolated. The kitchen really heats up when in use. I cant wait for winter so I can appreciate that. I also think there is a lot of heat loss on the stove. The grates are so far from the burners....I burnt my arm hair reaching around the front pot to stur the back. But it looks nice and cooks nice with no complaints there and it was what I could afford at the this time.

I just got this and it is going into a kitchen remodel so i do not have it hooked up yet but from past experience with this brand i can only hope it does as well as others i have had. I chose this model for its 5 burners, large grate area which will take large pans or griddle and the simplicity of it as i do not want all those extras that run up the price but not performance ie self clean and auto start etc. Just want a good reliable nice looking stove . Will let you know how well it bakes which is what i care most about.

Inside oven extremely difficult to clean!

I would have loved this oven if it weren't for the fact that it is extremely difficult to clean. My first time using the oven I baked a pie.My bf opened the oven when the pie was almost done and stuck a fork in it and knocked some crumbs all over my brand new oven.I turned the oven off immediatlely and as soon as it cooled down enough tried to clean up the damage from the crumbs. The crumbs seem to have melted into a crystalyzed form in the the short time they were in the oven and would not come off.I scrubbed with everything trying to get it off and it wouldn't budge. Not even Easy Off oven cleaner would get it off.The only way I could get it off was to gently scrape it off with a spoon not using any pressure,After an hour of scraping I finally got it all off with no scratches. If it takes this much work just to clean a few crumbs,I would hate to see how much work is involved cleaning splattered grease,or spill.I've never owned an oven that Easy Off wouldn't get clean.I'm very disappointed in this oven because of that. The timer might as well not exist because you can barely hear it when it goes off even standing right next to it.
