Really easy to set up! Keeps my room cool when I sleep. A little noisy for me, but not as noisy as a standard window unit. I will take the little extra noise for how well it works. Also has not raised our electric bill that much.

3.5 stars. It gets cold, don't need to drain unless it's on "dry mode", & is fairly quiet. Rolls easy on carpet. Does well in a 150+ sq ft bedroom. . 1 star. That dang hose contraption sucks! You move it & it pops out of the window attachment. You need to have A LOT of patience, tape,& a Serenity prayer! SUPER annoying. Finally used some of the sticky backed foam that was included & taped it down! Also the length need to be longer. It is about 5/6 inches shy for the bedroom (vertical opening) window. You'll need to design a bedroom AROUND a portable AC unit though.... no really. It's that annoying hose again. Can't say anything about the durability yet.

Great size unit for my bedroom space .Works great ! nice and cool easy to install I am using it with a slider door made a slight adaptation to make it fit perfect (it is made for a window ) .Had it for about a month no problems easy to clean filters couple screws and pops right out .Make sure to have a decent sized drip pan !

I love the remote control. It does make a difference and it was a good price. Pretty easy to move around. I do wish though that the hose connecting from the unit to the window stayed in better. It lets off a lot of heat and when that tube comes off even more heat ends up in the house so that’s frustrating.

This unit is portable and very easy to set up. Once this unit was set up all we had to do was hit the on button. This unit worked very well and it keeps the room cold. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who’s interested in cooling a small room and doesn’t want to use a window air-conditioner. The only setback is that it does take some space but if you Can live with that it’s a definite must buy. The aesthetics of the unit are pleasing and does not take away from the room.

Thus is an amazing purchase. It's compact, and works exceedingly well. Our room is cool in less than 10 mind. It's well priced, and doesn't use too much power. I would refer any and everyone this item if they are looking for a compact yet powerful air conditioner!

I bought two 8K BTU portable ACs, one for the living room (25x15) and one for the bedroom (15x15). They both work very good and cool the rooms fast. I liked modes and the sleep and the timer options. Sound-wise, it does make some sound but not that loud that you can't sleep at night. Have no issues with sound while sleeping. Installation manual was not that great so needed to use some of own due diligence to install but hey, as long as it is good in what it needs to do, I am fine with that.

This was bought to cool a 180 Sq feet bedroom. First, it's pretty compact and relatively simple to setup. It has a nice stylish look and it's not super bulky for a mobile air conditioner. It has a few things that aren't so good. The tube is definitely a bit too short. It barely reaches my window and I have to keep it right under the window so that the tube can reach. The remote kind of works but half the time it doesn't. I have to press the button several times to get it to work sometimes. My biggest problem with this is that it has a hard time keeping the room cold even when it's rated for a room bigger than what I'm using it in. It's also on the loud side, although it's not ear piercingly loud, but I have to talk loud over the unit when it's on. Overall it's not a bad unit, but I would probably look at better units if I was using it more frequently and if I want something that can cool down a room the size of what it's rated for.

This portable ac exceeded my expectations, cools my room in just 10 mins and after that feels likes you are in a freezer, about the noise is the same like the windows ones stop complaining, easy to move, to clean and install. For the money that I spent worth it. Very recommended

I’ve been wanting to get a portable air conditioner for quite a while but too many mixed reviews kept me from pulling the trigger. This 8000 btu unit is much bigger than what I need for my bedroom however, it appears to be the smallest one Frigidaire makes & im not going to buy some ghetto brand. Anyway, it cools the room of fast & it’s not at all overly noisy like people complain about when it comes to these types of units. I got it because I can open my window if I want & still get fresh air rather than sealing off my window for 5 or 6 months

My central AC System broke and the new system plus installation will take 4 weeks so I bought this portable one to survive the summer in Ohio. THis is good for a small bedroom. Not quiet but not noise. Easy to use. Adjust the air hose in the window can be a challenge depending on the window type you have, but once set you are good to go. The remote has a light in the LCD but not at the buttons so it does not help much in a dark room. It seems well built.

We live in an apartment and bought this to supplement our A/C unit which was only in the living room and didn't reach our bedroom. We keep the portable one in there and it will decently cool down the ~130 sq. ft. room (with vaulted ceilings) within 20 minutes. It was very easy to put together and install and also very easy to move the unit if you would decide to switch the room that it was in.

I like this unit. I use it bedroom only and it does cool it down well. The set up to vent into window is a little difficult to get it to stay in place but I did not set it in there permanently so maybe if that step was done it would be better. It doesn’t seal very tightly and it’s easy for it to fall out of window sill. Unit is loud but it’s not an annoying loud , more like hum. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

This AC is the perfect size for a small bedroom. It does not take up too much space and has wheels for easy transport. The filter is easy to clean and remote control is very user friendly.

This unit was easy use from the first time. Our RV had 2 AC units, but one broke so we got this to replace it. It cools very well and the sound level is reasonable to me. Set up was a bit complicated due to our unusual window to vent from. Might be easier with a more standard window. Make sure to allow space for the vent hose, not just the AC unit. I also got insulated vent hose from Home Depot instead of the one that came with it because the hose has a lot of heat to it as it exhausts out the window. I ended up taping both ends of the vent hose duct things on because they too easily snapped off. Gorilla tape worked great though and they haven't come apart since.

Bought this because we have an older house with weird size windows. Normal window AC's won't work. This gets the room really cool and is not super noisy.

Easy set-up and does the job of cooling one room; However, you have to be actively diligent when emptying the (water) overflow or have a large bucket(which is not recommended. The instructions could be a little better concerning cleaning the filters. a demonstration CD would be helpful.

Picked this up for the 2nd floor that needs some cooling help in the summer. Very cold, not too loud, and easy to hookup to the window!

We got this for a small bedroom and it keeps it nice and cool. Light up remote is nice especially at night. Was very easy to install.
