This unit was a good price, very easy to setup and works very well for our upstairs bedroom. Not very quiet but we sleep a lot better regardless.

Had an older model that was noisy and the hose never stayed connected....they have improved in both areas The price was good too

Central air is good, but in two story houses the second floor never cools to the level of the area where the thermostat is positioned. This portable air conditioner is easy to use ( Much better than window units!} and cools bedrooms to a temperature comparable with first floor areas.

Purchased this for my mom. Great item, does not take up much space. Gives out good cool air. Not too much set up

This unit cools down the room. It won't get it Ice cold like a meat refrigerator but definitely gets the hot air out. Good for small room.

It cools slowly but it does cool a small room down. First time ya run it expect a foul smell. Thankfully it does go away.

Overall good air conditioner. Cools room quickly. A little loud which is normal. I would recommend this air conditioner.

It easy to connect, install and is good for a medium room. I have a large living room and with the ceiling fan cools down the whole large living and dinning area. It also does save energy cause it has the energy save temp app.

It cools a small room quickly but it’s noisier than I expected. Take some time to get used to the noise. Otherwise, it does its job

I use this AC for my living room/kitchen. It's fair. Keeps it cool in AC mode 60F but not cold. It works better for smaller rooms!

Our a/c went out in our RV in the middle of the summer (2019). We were going to a bike rally & needed it fixed but we didn’t have enough time (or money). I found a portable a/c at Best Buy. It was an “open-box” model so I got about a $70 discount. It was easy to unpack; Just take it out of the box, plug it in, cut the exhaust vent panel to fit your window and secure the exhaust hose as good as you can; the panel is kind of brittle and cracked when my husband cut it but watching him put the exhaust hose through it was hilarious. It looked like he was wrestling an anaconda. The unit is heavy (62 pounds) and takes up quite a bit of space; It has wheels so once it’s out of the box you can just roll it around. The unit itself is quite compact but the exhaust hose takes up some space since you can’t bend it when you attach it to the window. When we finally got it plugged in & turned on, the air blowing out of the unit was cold but it’s only cool when you’re standing directly over it. The fan/blower needed to be more powerful to distribute the air. It did not cool the living area or any area of our RV during the heat of the day. We left it running overnight and the next morning the living room was cool but the overnight temperature was around 70 degrees so I’m sure a fan would have done just as well. It was disappointing (and hot) that it didn’t work as well as we expected it to.

Great option for a room since I rent apartment this portable AC works excellent. If you cant install a regular AC due to renting or temporarily renting. This makes an excellent choice to cool your room. Works great and it was easy to install for me.

Does the job and cools our dinner room. Only con the exhaust hose a at times falls out. Otherwise great buy

We purchased this when our AC went out during an extended heat wave and could not get a new install for a week. This unit is designed for one room and it worked great for that room, keeping it cool and livable with a heat index of 108 outside. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because in order to fit the exhaust to flow out the window and seal, you have to cut the blocking to fit the window. Made it very difficult to move from rooom to room.

We've had this unit for a couple of months now and are really impressed with it. We mostly use it in Cool mode but occasionally use the dehumidify mode as well. In Cool mode, it makes a noticeable difference in a small room in just a few minutes. While it's not silent, I wouldn't say it's is particularly loud. I've left it on over night and never been woken up by it. The dehumidify mode works surprisingly well. Well enough to where not having a tank for the condensation isn't so great. You'll need to hook the outlet tube into either a drain or a large container if you're going to use this mode. While the function is really quite good, the installation wasn't a 5-star experience. I would describe it as finicky. We're in an old building where the window frames are soft wood. This makes screwing in the plastic parts of the air out-vent particularly difficult so make sure you're aware of that before you buy. Two main pain points during installation: 1. Depending on the size of your window...you may need to actually cut the "resizable" plastic piece that fits across the window (and the manual doesn't do a great job of making this clear and seems to imply you should cut the wrong piece); 2. The actual vent is very very very hard to make stay in place during install (it's practically impossible to get the air-vent to snap into the plastic piece without significant force which in our case with the soft wood made everything move.) Overall, it's a great product and it seems very sturdy. I'd recommend two people for install (it's _very_ heavy) for both safety and sanity reasons. If anything goes wrong in the following months of operation, I'll post back here.

Used all last summer as no longer wanted to use our center air conditioning related to cost. This is a great little air conditioner eventhough our room is larger than recommended it kept us very comfortable.

This is a great ac for small rooms. It does not take up much space and keeps a small room very cool.

Great A/C so very easy to set up. Love all the features within it specially the remote control.

Love to sleep in a cold bedroom so this is perfect in cooling the room without having to run our central air too low at night. Not the greatest looking thing with the venting having to go out the window. The unit does look nice. I also like fan noise when I sleep so it's perfect for me. Hope it lasts because I'm happy with it so far.
